It had been a couple of weeks since the new school term had started. There had already been a couple of Glee Club meetings where he had explained about how he wasn't going to direct the musical that year, and such, and now it was time for the next meeting. So about ten minutes before the meeting was due to start, he had strolled into the choir room, so that he could set everything up.
He placed his bag on the chair, pulled the whiteboard closer, grabbed a pen a wrote that weeks assignment on the board. "Uniqueness" He then grabbed a seat, and waited for the rest of the members to enter the room.

As always, Kurt was grateful that he had a free period. Being a senior wasn't as bad as he thought it was going to be initially. The only problem that he had during these periods was that he was never exactly sure about what he wanted to do. He usually found himself trying to study in the library, or practicing in the auditorium, and during these times practicing, he found himself to be joined by Rachel. Kurt did like her company, but there were times when he just wanted to practice alone. Luckily, Rachel was off studying with Finn, so he had the auditorium all to himself.
He had a slight problem that he wasn't sure what to practice, but Kurt eventually settled on the soundtrack from Sunset Boulevard. When he reached the titular song, Kurt remembered that there was going to be a Glee club meeting was on today. He threw his bag strap over his shoulder, not bothering to re-adjust the strap before he ran out of the auditorium, and headed straight to the choir room.
Kurt skidded to a halt when he was just outside of the choir room, and had to hold onto the door to stop himself from slipping halfway down the hall. Kurt opened the door, and stuck his bag under his chair, before brushing himself down. After looking around, Kurt frowned slightly noticing that he was the only one in the room so far, apart from Mr Schuester.
'Hey, Mr Schue' Kurt said with a slight nod as he slowly sat down. His eyes quickly went up to look at the white board, which read "Uniqueness" So, I take that's the assignment this week..?'

Blaine was unusually happy througout all of his classes, despite the fact he had no free periods, and he received a piece of homework in each. All he could think about in each lesson was how it was getting closer and closer to the time for Glee practice, and even the thought was enough to bring a smile to his lips. Though he hadn't been at McKinley long, he was already growing extremely accustomed to New Directions and the responsibilities being part of such a club held, not to mention making small bonds with the fellow members. There were some he was already friends with - Kurt, Rachel, Finn - but as far as the others went, they were just acquiantances, and Blaine was trying to befriend them all. He wasn't hassling any of them, just being nice. It was what he did, after all. There were some he was staying a safe distance from, just in case, but that didn't stop him being friendly. He was trying his best not to belittle Rachel accidentally, too, as Kurt had warned him about his friend. Apparently, as.. lovely.. as she seemed, she had her moments. Blaine had promptly decided to take his boyfriend's advice and made an effort not to anger Rach in any way possible. He'd bonded quite well with her, actually, both of them landing leads in McKinley's production of West Side Story. Which had been a surprise. But, Kurt had given him flowers as a congratulations, and that was worth every single bit of surprise.
As soon as he was let free from his class before practice, he packed his stuff away rapidly, placing them quickly yet neatly into his messenger bag, slinging it over his shoulder and rushing a little to leave the classroom. He bumped into Brittany on his way there, who, much to his surprise, wasn't accompanied by Santana. Usually where he found one of them, he found the other, but Blaine wasn't complaining. If he was honest, Santana scared him just a little, but he didn't let on to that. He chatted to her animatedly for a few moments, before she said she had somewhere to get to, leaving him waving a goodbye before starting on his way towards choir room once more. He walked with a smile on his lips, his eyes glancing sideways from time to time, his feet moving quickly. Though he hadn't been the victim of a slushie yet, he was on tenterhooks just waiting. He didn't make it a secret that Kurt was his boyfriend, and with all things that the other boy had told him, he was always alert. However, he had a plan.. should he need it. Blaine was always prepared.
Finally he arrived at the choir room, his eyes falling on a very familiar pair of tight jeans. Smiling, he sneaked over to the other boy he'd recognised immediately, sliding his arms around Kurt's waist from behind. He kissed the back of his neck, squeezing his boyfriend lightly. " Hey, Kurtie. " His voice was a smooth purr against his skin, his eyes shining mischeviously. " Looks like we're the fi- " He stopped short in the middle of his sentence, after finally letting his gaze scan the room. What he'd failed to notice originally, but was now more than aware of, was that he wasn't the second person in the room, but in fact the third. His hazel eyes, now wide with surprise, had fallen on Mr. Schue. Swallowing, he removed his arms from around Kurt's waist immediately, taking a hop back. Feeling more than flustered, he could feel his cheeks burning up, and raised his hands in an effort to hide them. " Hey.. Mr. Schue.. interesting assignment.. " He paused, before giving a small nod, sliding down into his seat next to Kurt, who he saw had sat down. Placing his bag under his chair, Blaine kept his head down for a few moments, pretending to be interested in his shoes. He'd honestly believed they were the only two in the room... well.. this definitely taught him to look before he took action. Hey, Mr Schue.
[/b][/color] Kurt's voice rang out across the room, and he was just glad that attention was being diverted somewhere else. Blaine didn't want to know what would've happen had he not realised the pair were in the company of Mr. Schuester. So, I take that's the assignment this week..?[/b][/color] Finally feeling the flush in his cheeks die down slightly, he risked a glance upwards, shooting an apologetic smile in Kurt's direction. Blinking, he turned his gaze towards Mr. Schue hesitantly, sighing subtly when there were no looks of horror across his features. He would never make that mistake again.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size][/blockquote] STATUS ; Complete! TAGGED ; New Directions <33 WORDS ; 850 MUSE ; THE SCIENTIST NOTES ; Heheh ;D

It was surprising but she had actually made it to her last class today. Her teacher had been surprised that she remembered which class it was. She was a bit of a spaz brain sometimes and failed to make it to her last class most days. Things like this did happen on occasion as much as it surprised her teachers. She tended to make it to class more often then not this year. Also she was actually trying to do her homework this year. She wasn't as Cheerios focused this year.
On her way to her locker, Brittany had bumped into Blaine. They had chatted for a few minutes before she had bid him goodbye and said she would see him at glee practice. She liked to change before practice now. It was more fun to not be in her Cheerios uniform. She felt more like member of the club when she wasn't in that uniform. After grabbing her backpack from her locker, she headed to the girl's bathroom to change.
About ten minutes later, Brittany slipped into the choir room. It was only Kurt, Blaine, and Mr. Schue. For once she was early. This was rather odd. She was never early like this. Maybe something was holding everyone else up. Even Rachel wasn't here which was the most odd. She took a seat in front of Blaine and Kurt before looking at the board. Uniqueness This would be an interesting lesson. Brittany loved the glee lessons. It was her favorite homework.

Kurt was really looking forward to the school's production of West Side Story. It was one of his favourite musicals, so there wasn't really much reason for him not to be looking forward to it. Sure, he would've loved to have played Tony, but they made the perfect choice when they had cast Blaine for the part. Kurt knew that Blaine was going to get the part ever since he watched his boyfriend audition for the musical, even though he had just auditioned for a supporting role. The thought of that still brought a smile to Kurt's face, even though he was the one who ended up getting a supporting role. Kurt actually had no problems with the casting, apart from a slight problem with Rachel as Maria. Like Blaine, she was the perfect choice for the role, but after what happened at Rachel's house party, Kurt still couldn't trust Rachel 100% whenever she was alone with Blaine, just in case she got carried away and was attracted to his...talent and the memories of what happened that night came back to her. Kurt then buried his face in his hands, shaking his head. No...that wouldn't happen. Rachel's my friend, she wouldn't do that. You're just being paranoid, Kurt, He thought, frowning slightly. Why was he even getting so paranoid about this in the first place?
It wasn't a secret around here that Kurt and Blaine were dating, which Kurt had no problems with. Though, he couldn't help but worry about Blaine. Glee kids got enough crap enough as it was, and even if it wasn't a secret that Blaine was currently dating "that faggy Hummel kid", as Kurt imagined the jocks would put it, he was certain that at some point, Blaine would be slushied by one of them -- Kurt suspected Azimo if he was going to be honest. It was usually him and Karofsky that started it, but Karofsky was no longer part of that, and was in fact, trying to stop it. Which was good. There was one less person who was into that kind of crap around the school now. He kind of thought that he should've maybe waited for Blaine outside of his next class, but decided against it afterwards. Blaine would definitely be able to get to his classes okay by himself, and it would be better to probably arrange this kind of thing first.
Shortly after arriving in the choir room, Kurt felt two arms wrap around his waist, causing him to give a quick gasp of shock before chuckling softly, knowing whose arms they belonged to all to well. Blaine really did know how to make an entrance, and had certainly made a better one than Kurt had done. Speaking of his own entrance, Kurt was glad that Blaine didn't seem to have noticed, or at least hadn't commented on, how he nearly ended up slipping down the hall as he ran. As Blaine kissed his neck, and squeezed him lightly, Kurt closed his eyes and let out a small sigh as he craned his neck, forgetting completely that Mr Schuester was in the room. He felt his knees weakening slightly, and slowly opened his glasz eyes, smiling down at Blaine. 'Hey, Kurtie'
[/i] Hearing the smooth purr in Blaine's voice made it nigh impossible for Kurt not to just kiss Blaine right there and then 'Hello, Blainey' Kurt smiled, now holding onto Blaine's hands. 'Looks like we're the fi- '[/i]. Blaine had cut off, causing Kurt to slightly raise his eyebrows, and looked over at the white board and his hands left Blaine's to cover his mouth, stifling another gasp of shock. How he forgot that Mr Schuester was there, he would never know. When Blaine had let go of his waist, Kurt shielded the redness in his cheeks from Mr Schuester and Blaine (Mr Schue, moreso) as he sat down. ' Hey.. Mr. Schue.. interesting assignment.. '[/i]. Kurt had watched Blaine until he sat down next to him. Blaine had seemed to be very interested in his shoes, and Kurt decided to break the awkward silence by asking about the assignment. After Kurt had finished speaking, he glanced back at Blaine, and seeing Blaine's apologetic smile, Kurt shook his head, shooting Blaine another smile, letting him know that he was forgiven. He would really have to think of a way to make this up to Blaine, and tried to think of a time that they could spend alone together. A little while longer, and Brittany had came in. Kurt was glad to see her, though he was surprised that she wasn't with Santana, and he was even more shocked that she was here before Rachel was. In fact...Kurt was shocked that anyone was here before Rachel was. Where was Rachel anyway? He knew that she was studying with Finn, but she would've been here by now, normally. He only noticed that she wasn't there because no comment was made by her after his and Blaine's little...moment. She wouldn't have made a comment that was out of order, Kurt knew that, but she would've made some comment. After all, Rachel always had a comment to make on every situation. Kurt quickly glanced up at the ceiling before taking Blaine's hand in his, hoping that the shorter boy would be okay with it.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] WORDS: 893 MUSE: "Dancing Through Life" TAGS: New Directions NOTES: They're so adorable~ Also, I'll throw Rachel in here when I get up. Rachel hadn't meant to be in the library with Finn for so long, but she couldn't avoid it. No matter what she did, he just couldn't get what she was explaining to him. It was actually very frustrating, though she didn't show it. She didn't want Finn to know that she was getting impatient with him.
Though, when she noticed the time, she almost did lose her temper with him. She was so absorbed in explaining things to him that she didn't even notice that the new Glee club meeting had been running for five mintues now. She was so flustered, that she shoved everything in her bag, and darted out of the library without telling Finn about why she was in such a rush. Maybe it wasn't such a wise idea, but it was too late to dwell on that now.
She opened the door, to the choir room, and only saw Mr Schuester at first 'Mr Schuester, I have a load of ideas for our set list for Sectionals. I was looking through a book on Broadway musicals for the last fifty years and I've found the perfect duet for me and Fi --' Out of the corner of her eye, she saw everyone else there, and instantly shut up. She cleared her throat and looked at Mr Schuester 'Um..I can talk to you about this later. She said, before taking a seat at the front.
So far, there was only three other people apart from herself and Mr Schuester in the room. There was Brittany, who was looking as happy as usual, and there was Kurt and Blaine, who seemed...flustered for some reason. She raised an eyebrow, looking slightly confused, before she directed her attention to th e front of the room.

Seeing Kurt shoot him a smile, shaking his head, a sign he was forgiven, made his heart skip several beats. Though he'd made it clear that Blaine wasn't in the wrong, naturally, he felt like he'd have to do something to make it up to him. Get some time with him, when the pair were actually alone, and make sure that they actually were this time. He rarely found himself embarrassed, but being only inches from bringing Kurt into a passionate kiss to find that Mr Schue was in fact in the room was pretty bad. Blaine was pretty sure that would've been enough to make any kid in their year cringe. It might not have been so bad, had one of the boys not been a.. well.. boy.. but nonetheless, he was going to make it up to Kurt. They weren't doing anything after this, right? Perfect.
At the sound of footsteps, he looked up to see Brittany, changed out of her Cheerios uniform. Ah, so that was where she'd disappeared off to. Blaine shot her a lopsided smile as he caught her eye, before glancing down at his lap again. He was still fighting off the after effects of being flustered to lock gazes with anyone too long. He couldn't remember ever being that embarrassed before.. the last time he'd been remotely so was when he'd tripped down the stairs at home. How he managed to do that, he didn't know, but it hadn't been fun. Jason had laughed in his face. Blaine groaned internally - weren't brothers a treat?
Rachel appeared soon after, Finn nowhere to be seen. Blaine was surprised that she hadn't been here first, though he knew that she had been studying with him in the library, so maybe that was what had held her up. Either way.. there was no Finn here now. Catching her gaze briefly, he noticed the raise of her eyebrow, and shot her a weak smile, before letting her turn her attention away from him. She'd ask about it later, he was positive. Though, he guessed she may pick Kurt to ask about it over him - the pair were closer, after all. That.. and after her house party, things were a little.. woo. It could be occassionally awkward, being around Rachel alone, but it wasn't because he didn't trust her not to do anything. It was just a little hard to see her and not remember what had happened. Blaine still wanted to become her friend, though. She seemed nice enough, despite the things he'd been told about her already. Better for him to judge himself, he'd decided. Feeling Kurt's hand slip into his own, he glanced down at their connected hands, lacing their fingers together and giving his boyfriend a soft squeeze. Raising his gaze, he looked him in the eye, smiling. Eye contact lasted a few seconds, though Blaine knew what he was trying to do. His stare was a little different - he hoped Kurt would get that it wasn't just a normal hold of gazes. He tried to imply the message that he was planning on making it up to him, though it was harder than he thought. Blaine just crossed his fingers that Kurt would wait for him afterwards, so he could begin to.. well.. make it up to him. In the way only a boyfriend could. Turning his gaze back to the front of class again, he licked at his lips briefly. " Hey, Rach? Where's Finn? " It was somewhere to start in conversation.. somewhere that wasn't awkward and embarrassing. At least, not for him.

Quinn was pacing inside the gym right now. She had told Kurt the night while they were hanging out that she was going back to glee. She had also told both Kurt and Blaine that she had gotten over Finn. For the most part it was true. she was over Finn. She would never be completely over him but it was enough that she would be able to rejoin the club. Maybe she could even try being friends with Rachel if the girl could stop being so...well, Rachel. Okay,so maybe that one was a long shot. Though she could be nice.
Currently, she was second guessing this idea though. It seemed that she had thought of everything. What would they say about her coming back. Would they judge her? Hopefully not but she had judged them before. She had abandoned them when the school year had started. Maybe if she was lucky they would let her come back in peace. Though if Rachel made one of her smart ass comments, she might not be able to stop herself from hitting the girl.
Walking through the halls of McKinley on her way to the choir room, Quinn felt as if all eyes were on her. Though it wasn't the same. It use to be because they feared her as she was Queen Bee and lead the Unholy Trinity. Now it was the look of what did she do to herself. However, she didn't care anymore. She knew who her real friends were and she was heading right now. Hoping to God that they would expect her with open arms. Walking through the choir room door, the first thing that she heard was Blaine's voice. Hey, Rach? Where's Finn? Without saying a word, she went and took the empty seat on the other side of Kurt. Then waited for people to say something.

'Hey, Rach? Where's Finn?'
[/i] Rachel turned her attention away from the front of the room to smile at Blaine. 'Hi, Blaine! As for Finn...I think he's on his way here. I left him at the library, I was in such a rush to get here...I don't think he knows that there's a meeting on just now' She gave a small sigh, before smiling again. She really didn't know what to do with Finn. He was a bit hopeless at times, though she couldn't help but love him. Speaking of love...she would have to find out why Blaine and Kurt were acting so strange just now. It probably wasn't anything too bad, seeing as how they were smiling and holding each others hands. Though, if she was going to ask any of them first, it would probably be Kurt, seeing as they were closer, but if Kurt was going to be too stubborn to tell her, then she would ask Blaine. Rachel had to admit...the first week when he transferred to McKinley were a little awkward, for the same reasons about the house party. Though, she no longer felt that way. It probably even wouldn't happen again anyway, they were drunk and single at the time, so that was the main factors of how it started. Then, staring at the door, Rachel's mouth slightly fell open at who walked in. Quinn. Rachel never thought for a second that Quinn was ever going to come back, and with how she was acting, Rachel wasn't sure if she even wanted Quinn back. But, she was back now. There wasn't much that could be down about that. Rachel closed her mouth, and shook her hair out of her face. It probably wasn't that welcoming to Quinn, having her stare at her with a shocked expression. So, Rachel managed a small smile, annd looked at Quinn 'Welcome back, Quinn' She said, in the cheeriest tone that she could manage, with a slight icy edge to it, that Rachel couldn't fight back at all.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] WORDS: 343 MUSE: NONE TAGS: NEW DIRECTIONS NOTES: HELL YEAH, CAPSLOCK[/justify]

Sitting there, Brittany didn't pick up on the awkward vibe in the room. She was rather quiet for the most part. This was how she normally wasn't. It was usually best if she didn't open her mouth too much. She tended to say dumb things sometime. Though she was a lot better then people gave her credit for. However, people chose to look over that. Just as Rachel chose to step al over everyone else's talent and act like she was the only one in the club with talent.
Mr Schuester, I have a load of ideas for our set list for Sectionals. I was looking through a book on Broadway musicals for the last fifty years and I've found the perfect duet for me and Fi -- Speak of the devil and it shall appear. Brittany gave a goofy silly. Okay, so maybe some of Santana had worn off on her but at least she kept the comments to herself. Um..I can talk to you about this later. She gave a sigh of relief but no one noticed.
Hey, Rach? Where's Finn? There was the big question. Where was the dear little Finn Hudson? Just as words left Blaine's mouth, in strolls Quinn. She was surprised to see the girl here. She hand't expected her to come back to the club anytime soon. Especially after they had talked when the former Cheerio had had pink hair. Hi, Blaine! As for Finn...I think he's on his way here. I left him at the library, I was in such a rush to get here...I don't think he knows that there's a meeting on just now. Brittany brushed her hair out of her face. Well if that isn't love then I don't know what is. That was typical Rachel to just abandon Finn for glee practice. Welcome back, Quinn. She looked at Quinn to wait for a reaction.

''Mr Schuester, I have a load of ideas for our set list for Sectionals. I was looking through a book on Broadway musicals for the last fifty years and I've found the perfect duet for me and Fi --'
[/i], Kurt, who was still looking at Blaine, turned around, hearing the very familiar voice, talking at it's usual rapid speed. He slightly raised his eyebrow in confusion, thinking it was strange that Rachel was only coming in just now, and that she was also without Finn. 'Um..I can talk to you about this later'[/i]. When Rachel raised an eyebrow at he and Blaine, Kurt looked away, not wanting to answer the barrage of questions that seemed to be on the edge of her lips. It was surprising that she hadn't exploded yet. His gaze, which was wandering all around the room, had shot back to Blaine, feeling him squeeze his hand. Kurt smiled at him, and gazed into his eyes, with his lips slight parted. He had gazed into Blaine's eyes enough times to know this just wasn't the usual gaze that they usually had. Blaine seemed to want to make up for what happened earlier. Kurt gave a quick nodded, before looking down at their hands. Kurt actually was intending on waiting for Blaine after practice had finished anyway. 'Hey, Rach? Where's Finn?'[/i] Kurt gazed at Rachel out of the corner of his eye when Blaine spoke. He was wondering that himself. 'Hi, Blaine! As for Finn...I think he's on his way here. I left him at the library, I was in such a rush to get here...I don't think he knows that there's a meeting on just now'[/i] Rachel sounded as cheerful as ever. He frowned a little, a bit disappointed that Rachel hadn't waited for Finn. Though, his thoughts were distracted when Quinn had sat next to him. So, she was serious about returning then. He smiled at her, and said in a hushed voice 'Good to see that you've joined us.'. He was genuinely glad to see her. But it didn't appear that Rachel was 'Welcome back, Quinn'[/i] Her voice did sound happy, though, there was a hint of bitterness about it. Somehow, he'd managed to catch Rachel's attention, and she turned round to smile at him. Hi, Blaine! As for Finn...I think he's on his way here. I left him at the library, I was in such a rush to get here...I don't think he knows that there's a meeting on just now.
[/color] She gave a sigh after she spoke, followed by another smile. Perhaps if he wasn't crazy about the boy sitting next to him, the one that was holding his hand so perfectly, Blaine would've been able to frown at the fact she'd left her boyfriend in the library. However, as that smile graced her lips, he couldn't help but give a gentle sigh of his very own. It was a smile he recognised - he'd caught himself wearing the very same one a lot of the time, predominantly whenever he was around Kurt. Rachel loved Finn, and that was all there was to read off her smile. Maybe it wasn't the best thing to do, after leaving him in the library, but hey, she couldn't help it. Chuckling softly, he let his gaze pass over the door, before looking back to Rachel. " Hopefully he'll remember in time. Though, I suspect he'll guess this is where you've gone, he knows you well enough. " He shot her a knowing smile, before catching the raise of her eyebrow, and turning his attention back to Kurt beside him. The gesture had obviously been meant for his boyfriend, as he was now looking everywhere but at Rachel, seemingly wanting to avoid her gaze. Blaine couldn't really blame him. He'd already guessed that she was going to want to ask about their.. fiasco.. and was probably surprised that she hadn't blurted any questions out already. However, he wasn't complaining. It was awkward enough having to experience the actual thing without having to reaccount it to the members of New Directions. He knew that later, Kurt would probably have to deal with her, but he'd find some way to put that off as best as he could. Maybe keep Kurt within his company a little longer.. that wasn't so bad, right? Speaking of said boy, Kurt turned his gaze back to Blaine, his lips parted slightly. His hazel eyes soon fixated on this, making it increasingly harder not to just kiss the other boy. However, the fact that they weren't alone was enough to flick his gaze back up to Kurt's eyes, away from his extremely tempting mouth. Kurt gave a quick nod, before letting his line of sight fall to their hands. Satisfied, Blaine smiled, before turning his head to look at the front of the room. Except, his eyes were distracted by the familiar sight of none other than Quinn walking into the choir room. She didn't say anything, and immediately took the free seat next to Kurt. If Blaine wasn't going to guess on a chair for her to take, it would've been that one, purely because of how close the pair had been growing closer. This was backed up by Kurt's next comment. Good to see that you've joined us.[/b][/color] His voice was hushed, but since he was sitting so close, Blaine was able to pick up on every word. He smiled at the blonde, his own way of welcoming her without saying anything, before Rachel's words echoed throughout the room. Welcome back, Quinn.[/b][/color] She had the usual cheery tone to her voice, but there was no denying an undertow of ice. Blaine swallowed a little, crossing his legs at the knees and placing his free hand on his thigh, wishing silently that Glee practice wouldn't become awkward.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size][/blockquote] STATUS ; Complete! Hi, Blaine! As for Finn...I think he's on his way here. I left him at the library, I was in such a rush to get here...I don't think he knows that there's a meeting on just now. So, apparently the dwarf had abandoned Finn in the library. Well, isn't she a fantastic girlfriend to the poor boy. She would have treated him much better than that. Though she wasn't his girlfriend anymore. So, it wasn't her call. Hopefully he'll remember in time. Though, I suspect he'll guess this is where you've gone, he knows you well enough.
Quinn gave a chuckle. Though it was only loud enough for Kurt and Blaine to hear. That boy didn't have many brain cells. Though she wasn't going to say that out loud. If a smack down started with the dwarf, she would probably win. She had managed to handle Santana rather well when they had fought. Good to see that you've joined us. She gave Kurt a big smile. Though she wasn't sure she wanted to speak yet. Afraid of the dwarf trying to say something in response that might set her off.
Welcome back, Quinn. Her voice sounded cheerful but she caught the icy edge of it. She knew that Rachel didn't really want her back. The girl had probably just been playing nice because she knew that the others wanted her back. Thanks, Rachel. She how she had managed to keep an icy tone out of her voice despite everything.

'Hopefully he'll remember in time. Though, I suspect he'll guess this is where you've gone, he knows you well enough'
[/i] Rachel smiled at the smile that Blaine had given her. Though she couldn't see her face, she did suspect that it was the same look that he had whenever in Kurt's company. They were adorable together, and after what Kurt had went through last year, Rachel was truly happy for him. 'Yeah, and he probably knows me well enough by now to know that's why I ran off in such a rush....not to mention that he's dedicated to the club and will probably remember it before it ends, anyway'She then looked back at Kurt, when Blaine turned his attention back to him. Rachel frowned when he wasn't looking at her, but she shrugged, and looked at the front of the room, smiling. It was like he could tell that she was going to bombard her with questions. It really made her happy that he could read her that easily now. 'Thanks, Rachel.'[/i] Rachel looked at Quinn, still smiling, though it disappeared when Quinn sounded more friendly. She felt awful now, though she didn't let it show, before she smiled again 'You're welcome. We will really have a higher chance of winning Nationals now that you're here'[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] WORDS: 219 TAGS: NEW DIRECTIONS <3 MUSE: Damn it, Janet NOTES: N/A[/size][/justify]

All he'd done was turn his back for one minute. He'd finished with the book he had, so, naturally, he'd gone to place it back on the bookshelf. When he'd turned back, Rachel wasn't at their table. Finn had, admittedly, huffed right about then. It wasn't turning out to be an awesome day, really. He wasn't too sure where she'd gone, or why she'd run off without telling him, but whatever it was, he reckoned it had better be important. He never did this to her. It hadn't taken him long to decide that he wasn't going to go find her just yet. Instead, he went back to their table, and started on the next bit of studying. It really wasn't fun, by himself. Hell, it wasn't even fun when he studied with Rachel, but at least it was bearable. Now she'd just.. ditched him. Had he done something wrong? Maybe this was her way of punishing him - wait until his back was turned, then make a run for it, leaving him utterly confused and a little more than disappointed. Finn didn't even know. Then again, what did he know? Not a lot. After a few more moments of writing, his eyes travelled back to the book lazily, before shooting open in surprise. Glee club.
Finn managed to trip over several chairs in his hasty attempt to leave the library, almost landing flat out on his face at one point, if it hadn't been for the table to help support his weight. Needless to say, he was in a rush. How he'd managed to forget about this until now, he didn't know, but all that mattered was that he got there, and he wasn't the last person to arrive. So long as he wasn't the latest, Finn could deal with that. Oh, hey, this was probably where Rachel had gone, too. Though that still didn't explain why she ran without letting him know. He was a part of New Directions too. Shrugging it off, Finn skidded round a corner, barely managing to dodge an incoming teacher. After a brief telling off for not running in the corridors - most stereotypical rule or what - Finn continued on his way, reducing his speed to a brisk walk. He could still make it there relatively quickly, if he got a move on and avoided hallway traffic.
After skidding round a few more turns, hitting a wall, and tripping over a dropped book, Finn finally made it to the choir room, all in one piece. He came to an abrupt halt in the doorway, trying to count how many people were in the room way too quickly, causing him to frown a little. Blinking, he started again, going in no particular order. Okay, so there was Brittany. Unusually, Santana wasn't here too, but Finn wasn't complaining. Another person to be later than himself. Continuing to look around the room, his gaze fell on Kurt. He couldn't stop but shoot him evils, a small scowl crossing his features as he locked eye contact with his brother, a pout forming on his lips. It'd probably be an understatement to say things were a little awkward between them at the minute. Managing to tear away his gaze from the countertenor, his eyes fell on Kurt's hand, intertwined with Blaine's. Blaine. Finn glanced very quickly at the other boy, the promise he'd made to Kurt coming back to him. As hard as he tried to smile at Blaine, it just wasn't happening, not at all. Luckily, that's when he saw Quinn, and his jaw may have just fallen off. Quinn?! Finn thought she'd.. she wasn't.. what? He really hadn't been expecting to see her at Glee club, and it only took a few moments for him to realise he might just be staring. Looking away, his gaze fell on his girlfriend, and all previous thoughts came back to him. " Rachel?! "
[/color] He squeaked, his eyes widening and his arms throwing out to the side, as if to gesture 'what the hell?'. Wasn't this rehearsal going to be a treat?[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size] STATUS ; Complete! TAGGED ; New Directions :) WORDS ; No idea. MUSE ; VALERIE <--- Too lazy for links, haha.
