'Yeah, and he probably knows me well enough by now to know that's why I ran off in such a rush....not to mention that he's dedicated to the club and will probably remember it before it ends, anyway
Kurt chuckled, slightly amused. It was so fitting for the both of them to act that way. Kurt looked up again when he heard someone approach the doorway, and upon seeing that it was Finn, he raised an eyebrow slightly. Kurt wasn't sure how to act around Finn. He was still mad about what Finn had said, though, he was going to act based on how Finn was going to react. So, he wasn't going to be acting very pleasant. Catching eye contact with Finn, he noticed that his brother was giving him evils and was scowling. So, in return, Kurt narrowed his eyes with annoyance, and his lips were set into a matching pout. Kurt only broke his glare from Finn broke his gaze to have them fall onto Kurt's hand. At this, Kurt looked away, and glared at the opposite wall, not wanting to deal with Finn at the current moment. 'You're welcome. We will really have a higher chance of winning Nationals now that you're here' Kurt sighed, and shook his head again. Another typical Rachel response, but it wasn't one that was very good. Why couldn't she just be happy with the experiences they had going to Nationals? Sure, it would be nice to win, but was it really everything? 'Rachel?!' Kurt glanced back at Finn, slightly startled how Finn's voice had came out a squeak. Finn seemed to be annoyed that Rachel had left him in the library, but who could really blame him? Kurt looked away, and continued to glare at the wall again 'This is certainly going to be fun' He muttered darkly, under his breath. Brittany noticed Kurt say something to Quinn but she couldn't hear what was said. Though it probably wasn't meant to be heard by anyone but Quinn. She didn't think much of it. Hopefully he'll remember in time. Though, I suspect he'll guess this is where you've gone, he knows you well enough. Apparently, Blaine was trying to play nice with Rachel. Then again, he hadn't had to deal with her and all her ego for the last couple of years. Sure, Brittany played nice but that was because there was enough drama already. Yeah, and he probably knows me well enough by now to know that's why I ran off in such a rush....not to mention that he's dedicated to the club and will probably remember it before it ends, anyway. She gave a snort. Not realizing that it was out loud.
Thanks, Rachel. That was surprising. She was expecting the same icy edge that Rachel had had. If not a worse one. Had hell frozen over? This was a complete shock. She couldn't wait for Rachel's reaction. Then she watched, Rachel's smile disappear. Oh snap! She felt bad. You're welcome. We will really have a higher chance of winning Nationals now that you're here. Was that all this bloody girl thought about?
Then Finn was standing in the doorway. Well, at least he found out where Rachel had gotten off to. She wondered what would happen to their relationship if this was how Rachel was going to be. Rachel?! His voice squeaked and he gave a gesture as if to say 'what the hell?'. This is certainly going to be fun. Brittany gave a little chuckle. We have more drama then a Shakespearean tradgey.

While Rachel was talking with Blaine, she heard Brittany give a snort after she finished speaking. Rachel sighed, and slowly turned around to look at Brittany 'Is there a problem, Brittany?' She asked, trying to keep her tone as polite as physically possible.
Rachel's face practically lit up when she saw Finn walk in. She was more than elated that he remembered Glee practice without her pestering him about it. She leaned forward and beckoned him over, but leaned straight back out of shock, seeing him glare at Kurt, and glancing back at Kurt, he was also glaring. Her mouth fell slightly, as she looked between the two brothers, wondering what the hell was going on between them.
'Rachel?!'
Finn seemed annoyed that she left him in the library, and though she thought he had every right to be irritated, she wasn't going to apologize. Not yet anyway. 'Now, Finn...I know this looks bad, but I just wanted to get here early. But I'm glad that you're hear' She smiled, and stood up, taking his wrist and leading him to the seat, shooting him an apologetic smile. She leaned in and whispered under her breath 'Hey...what's going on between you and Kurt..?' She frowned a little, concerned about the two of them. 'We have more drama then a Shakespearean tradgey' She turned around, and looked at Brittany 'W-what are you talking about?' Was there more dramatic things going on around here? She really had to know all of them. Being one of the co-captains of the Glee club, she had to know everything that was going on between the members. Or at least, the most that she could find out. You're welcome. We will really have a higher chance of winning Nationals now that you're here. What she wouldn't give to be able to hurt Rachel Berry. The girl's mire voice was like nails on a chalkboard to her. Maybe she could convince Rachel to duct tape her mouth shut again. The fact that Brittany had snorted had gone unnoticed by Quinn until Rachel spoke again. Is there a problem, Brittany? Though her thoughts of causing harm to Rachel were interrupted by Finn entering the room. There were some glares exchanged between him and Kurt. That was a bit odd. Were they fighting?
Rachel?! His voice squeaked and he gave a 'what the hell?' gesture. Were the Finchel issues starting early this year? This is certainly going to be fun. Kurt's tone was kind of dark. Something certainly was wrong. This year was going to be an interesting one at any rate. Now, Finn...I know this looks bad, but I just wanted to get here early. But I'm glad that you're hear. This was so typical Rachel. Try to sweet talk Finn. Maybe if he used his brain cells it wouldn't end in her wishing to vomit.
Hey...what's going on between you and Kurt..? Now that was certainly a question that she wanted to know that answer to. Though she doubted she would find out until the rest of the club did. We have more drama then a Shakespearean tradgey. W-what are you talking about? Then Quinn sighed. Does it matter, Berry. You don't need to know everything.

Yeah, and he probably knows me well enough by now to know that's why I ran off in such a rush....not to mention that he's dedicated to the club and will probably remember it before it ends, anyway.
Blaine managed a soft chuckle, shaking his head slightly in disbelief, before looking back up at Rachel. " I should hope so, with him being co-captain and all.. " It was only a few moments after he spoke before his attention was directed towards the door, and speak of the devil, there stood Finn. Blaine really wasn't too sure how to react. He knew that something had been going on between Kurt and his brother - something he was certain he was the cause of - but he hadn't really had a detailed conversation with his boyfriend about it. He hadn't wanted to pry for any details, since he'd seemed pretty shaken up by it. Noticing the look on Finn's face, he immediately switched his attention to Kurt, who was wearing a matching pout. He opened his mouth to speak, but Kurt looked away at the wall, and when he glanced back to Finn, his gaze seemed to be on him. He gave a small smile, before watching as he turned to Rachel. Huh. This should be fun. Rachel?! Finn's voice came out as a squeak, which surprised him a little, but he couldn't say he didn't feel bad for the co-captain. It was a typical Rachel thing to do, leaving him in the library, but that didn't mean he was used to it, or had to like it. Blaine was just thankful that Kurt waited for him wherever they were. Now, Finn...I know this looks bad, but I just wanted to get here early. But I'm glad that you're hear. No apology? Blaine couldn't help but raise an eyebrow a little, but he didn't say anything. He wasn't one to meddle in other people's relationships. Rachel took him by the wrist and led him to his chair, before whispering something in his ear. Blaine didn't quite catch it, but maybe he didn't want to know. Â We have more drama then a Shakespearean tradgey. Brittany gave a little chuckle as she spoke, and although he'd only been to a few practices, Blaine had to agree with her, causing a smile to cross his features. Rachel didn't seem to agree, as she whipped round to look at Brittany, a question spurting seemingly naturally from her lips. W-what are you talking about? Was there something Rach didn't know? Well, that was a first. Blaine had no doubt she'd try and find out whatever it was, but his thoughts were stopped by a sigh from Quinn. Â Does it matter, Berry. You don't need to know everything. Well. The Faberry spats were starting already. Blaine didn't really want to get caught up in any sort of drama, besides his own or his boyfriend's, where it actually mattered to him what was said. Â This is certainly going to be fun. Kurt's tone was dark, and his sentence was muttered under his breath, but Blaine didn't miss a single word. This was Kurt - he heard anything and everything the countertenor said. Starting to worry about him a little, Blaine turned his head back towards him. Was he referring to Finn? Or maybe just the entire practice in general? Whatever it was, he didn't like seeing Kurt so.. reserved, staring off into the corner, so he gave his hand a reassuring squeeze. Leaning in, he pressed a soft kiss to Kurt's cheek, before turning his mouth a little, so that he could whisper in his ear. Anthony was wondering the halls of Mckinley, wondering what to do. He has already had talks with most of the Glee club members concerning the New Directions, but he still wasn't sure if he wanted to actually try out. Okay, so both Kurt and Blaine had invited him to come along to the next meeting, not to try out, but to see if he would like it. And right now, he was torn. He knew that deep down, in his heart of hearts, he would love to join the Glee Club. Singing was his passion, and Musical Theatre was his life. Literally. His mother was a ex west-end/broadway star, who still to this day was in the occsional play, and his dad was still a casting agent. He knew, that if he joined Glee Club, he would be able to win them over. As he wondered down the halls, he took a seat on a bench, and led back, trying to figure out what he wanted to do. After a couple of minutes, he made his choice. He got of the bench, took a deep breath, and stalked down the corridor to the choir room. He took another deep breath, and knocked on the door. He was told to enter. It was now or never. He opened the door, and saw his Spanish teacher. When asked what he was doing there, he simply said, "I was told it was alright for me to tag along to this meeting and look in on it, is that okay?" he asked, slightly nervous. Mr Schue sat back in his chair, and watched as the various Glee kids filed in and took their seats. First came Kurt, which was a suprise. Will had actually been expecting Rachel to come in first, but still, Kurt was usually one of the first kids to arrive. 'Hey, Mr Schue. "Uniqueness" So, I take that's the assignment this week..?' "Hey Kurt" will said in return, nodding his head back at him, "Yes, Kurt that is this weeks assisgnment." He then sat back and waited for the rest of them.
Next in was Blaine, who didn't seem to notice that he was there, as the first thing he did was sneak up to Kurt and give him a small kiss. He Will was about to say something, but at that moment, he seemed to relise that he was there. "Hey.. Mr. Schue.. interesting assignment.. " Well the kid was bound to be a little embarresed, but he just let it slide.
After Blaine Brittany entered the room, minus her cheerios outfit. Will raised an eyebrow. It was rare to see any Cheerio out of costume, but he didn't mind what they wore, as long as they respected each other.
And then came Rachel, running into the room, talking at top speed, obviously not relising that there were other people in the room. 'Mr Schuester, I have a load of ideas for our set list for Sectionals. I was looking through a book on Broadway musicals for the last fifty years and I've found the perfect duet for me and Fi --Um..I can talk to you about this later.'
And then Quinn. Will didn't raise an eyebrow at this. He knew that Quinn was planning on comeing back, she had been at the last booty camp after all. He just wasn't sure how the rest of the group was going to react her reappearce. Rachel seemed to be trying her best to be civil, Kurt seemed to be happy she was back, as did Brittany, and Blaine didn't really do much, but then again, he didn't really know her.
After Quinn, Finn came. Will had been wondering where he was, but he was here now, and that was all that mattered. Just as Finn came through the door, Will looked at the clock and relised that he had to start now, or there wouldn't be much point in continuing. He got up, and closed the door, allowing it to slam shut, so the club would know that the meeting has begun. When all talking had subsided, he said, "That's better. Right, now this week, I'm giving you your first official..." He trailed of, because at that point, there was a knock on the door. A little suprised, because all the Glee Club members knew to come in, as long as they aplogized for there lateness, he said, "Come in." and the door swung open to reveal the new kid, Anthony Antonini. "I was told it was alright for me to tag along to this meeting and look in on it, is that okay?" "Sure come on in, take a seat" The kid seemed a little nervous, but that was to be expected, he was new, and being the new kid was always daunting. He cleared his throat before contiueing. "As I was saying. This week, I'm giving you your first official assignment. Uniqueness. I want you all to pick a song that you feel reflects you, and at the next meeting, you're gonna sing it. Now as for today, I thought that we'd discuss Sectionals. Rachel. Didn't you say you had some ideas?"

Kurt nodded back at Mr Schue, pushing his hair away from his face. 'Yes, Kurt that is this weeks assisgnment.' Kurt smiled at Mr Schue before glancing at the board again 'Right, I thought as much' He was glad that Mr Schue didn't make too much of a big deal about his and Blaine's little...moment, of sorts. It would just be all kinds of awkward otherwise. 'I should hope so, with him being co-captain and all.'. Kurt nodded slightly, glancing at Rachel and Blaine 'Yeah..probably' He sighed, rolling his shoulders back 'He's been doing pretty well with that position..let's just hope that he doesn't slip up too much' Though, despite his words, Kurt really didn't want to see Finn, at the moment, and really just wanted to avoid him as much as he could. But, it would be better for the club if he did arrive, so he wasn't hoping too much. ''Now, Finn...I know this looks bad, but I just wanted to get here early. But I'm glad that you're hear' Such a typical Rachel excuse. He really didn't expect her to be any different. She then whispered into Finn's ear. Kurt didn't need to be near them to know what she was talking about. He knew that Rachel was asking about what was going on between them. Why couldn't she just keep out of other people's business for once? 'Is there a problem, Brittany' Kurt sighed. Was this really happening? What was it with Rachel and always having drama follow her around everywhere? It was starting to get annoying. It was like she had to have the spot light on her at all times. Kurt was starting to get really annoyed with it. He didn't dare voice this opinion though. There was enough drama as it was. He didn't need to though, Quinn had already voiced her opinion 'Does it matter, Berry. You don't need to know everything.'. So, Faberry drama was already starting? At least the club was going to be more like it was last year then. Kurt wasn't going to get involved with other drama, especially the usual Fuinn/Faberry/Finchel drama. It happened nearly every year that Kurt wasn't even shocked any more when any of the three pairings argued. His gaze from the wall was broken, feeling Blaine squeeze his hand reassuringly. Kurt looked his boyfriend, the slight pout that was on his face was replaced with a soft smile. No matter what, Blaine never failed to make him happy again. It was easier for him to clear his mind of any of the negative feelings he had around Blaine. After Blaine had kissed his cheek, Kurt smiled wider ' You okay, beautiful?' Managing a wry smile, Kurt nodded 'Yeah, I'm fine' He said in a breathless whisper as he looked at Blaine. 'That's better. Right, now this week, I'm giving you your first official..' Kurt was still smiling at Blaine that he barely noticed that Mr Schue was talking, until he heard someone knock on the door. It probably wasn't another member; they would usually just walk in. 'Come in' Kurt leaned forward in his seat slightly, to get a better view of who it was that had came in. ' was told it was alright for me to tag along to this meeting and look in on it, is that okay?'. Kurt was slightly shocked to see Anthony. Though he did remember him and Blaine say that it was probably fine to just sit and watch, he didn't think that he would ever actually sit in. Out of all the days he chose to sit in though... 'Sure come on in, take a seat'. Well, at least they could get a potential new member, now that Mr Schue was fine with hiim being there. 'As I was saying. This week, I'm giving you your first official assignment. Uniqueness. I want you all to pick a song that you feel reflects you, and at the next meeting, you're gonna sing it' Kurt smiled, after hearing the assignment that they were given. He knew exactly what he was going to sing. Though he wasn't going to spill it to anyone just yet until he got it perfect. ' Now as for today, I thought that we'd discuss Sectionals. Rachel. Didn't you say you had some ideas?' Kurt frowned slightly, and rolled his eyes quickly. He didn't want Sectionals to become the Rachel Berry and Finn Hudson Show like most of their competitions they went to were like, he knew that all of Rachel's suggestions would be like that. Hopefully, Mr Schue would only take these into consideration, and come up with a set list that would broadcast everyone else's talent. Hey Kurt.
Hearing Mr Schue speak, Blaine was instantly reminded of his little mess up, and glanced down at the hand that wasn't still connected with Kurt's. Yes, Kurt that is this weeks assisgnment. Right, I thought as much. At least Kurt seemed to be able to keep his cool. Blaine was silently wishing that Mr Schue wouldn't bring up what had happened, and gave a sigh of relief when the conversation moved elsewhere. He didn't need all that awkward going on. Yeah..probably. His attention was drawn from Rachel as Kurt spoke up, giving a sigh and rolling his shoulders back. He's been doing pretty well with that position..let's just hope that he doesn't slip up too much. Blaine knew there was a little Furt drama going on right now, but he didn't really know the extent of it. Just that the brothers really weren't on the best terms. He didn't really feel like it was his place to probe the matter too far, so he simply glanced back to Rachel, expecting her to speak up for her boyfriend. Even if the fact that he used his head very little was true. As Kurt turned his head to look in his direction, Blaine was relieved to see the pout that had been on his lips only moments before turn into a soft smile, holding his boyfriend's gaze gently. He didn't know whether they were going to start discussing Finn right here right now, but he knew Kurt well enough to guess that they probably weren't. That was fine - he could either ask later or just drop the subject. Yeah, I'm fine. Kurt's words were accompanied by a wry smile, though they came out in a breathless whisper, leaving Blaine a little confused as to how Kurt was really feeling. It didn't really matter, he was going to help either way. He nuzzled Kurt's cheek softly, before turning his head to brush his lips against Kurt's ear. " Talk later? " He leaned back after he spoke, continuing to look him in the eye, waiting for a response of some kind. That's better. Right, now this week, I'm giving you your first official.. Mr Schue's voice was just noise in the background until a loud knock filled the room, and Blaine's attention was switched from Kurt to the door. Come in. He peeked round Finn in front of him, a look of surprise crossing his features as Anthony opened the door. Both himself and Kurt had advised he pop down to a meeting some time, though today wasn't exactly the best. Shooting him a quick smile, he glanced sideways to Mr Schue. I was told it was alright for me to tag along to this meeting and look in on it, is that okay? Sure come on in, take a seat. New Directions was certainly gaining a few new members recently, though Blaine wasn't complaining. It was great. As I was saying. This week, I'm giving you your first official assignment. Uniqueness. I want you all to pick a song that you feel reflects you, and at the next meeting, you're gonna sing it. Blaine gave a smile, though he had no idea what he was going to sing yet. He knew this assignment was going to be one most likely favoured throughout the Glee club, but so far, his mind was drawing a blank. He was going to have to have a good think about which song he'd choose before next meeting. Now as for today, I thought that we'd discuss Sectionals. Rachel. Didn't you say you had some ideas? His gaze immediately fell forwards to Rachel. Blaine knew that a rapid spurt of conversation was about to fall from her mouth, and he didn't know if he'd be able to keep up, but he could try. Is there a problem, Brittany? Brittany turned and gave Rachel a huge smile. It was half sincere and half fake. There wasn't much that Brittany really had to say to Rachel. She didn't practically hate the girl. Though she wasn't quite sure if she would go so far as to call her a friend. No, I see no problem here. Looks around and lifts up her book bag. She even goes so far as to look under her chair. She was trying to get some laughs. Now, Finn...I know this looks bad, but I just wanted to get here early. But I'm glad that you're hear.
This was awesome. Rachel had made Finn a little bit upset. She kind of wanted to pull out some candy or popcorn and watch the drama. Santana probably would have done it with her but she had no clue where the girl was. She had completed failed to notice the words that Klaine shared. Also the more annoying half of Finchel whispering. Then again she didn't notice the new kid enter or speak. When she finally noticed him there was a small amount of silence as she tried to figure out where she knew him. This musing lead her to completely ignore eventhing that had come of of Mr. Schuester's mouth. She really should listen but even then she would probably forget it anyways. Then she remember where she knew the kid from. She'd met him in the rain a while back.
W-what are you talking about? Honestly, Brittany didn't really know. So, she didn't have an answer for the bossy little girl. Luckily Quinn chimed in for her. Does it matter, Berry. You don't need to know everything. She smirked. Gosh, had she missed having Quinn around. What Q said.

'I should hope so, with him being co-captain and all..'
Rachel smiled at Blaine as he shook his head in disbelief. She shot him a reassuring smile 'Oh, he definitely does. I can assure you all that' She really was happy that Finn showed up. Rachel loved almost everybody in the club, but Finn always got a little more than everyone else. She didn't do well to hide this; anyone who paid the slightest bit of attention would know that. She glanced at Blaine again after Finn squeaked, tilting her head a little at him. Rachel noticed that when Finn had walked in, Blaine did open his mouth as though to say something when he noticed how Finn and Kurt were acting. She assumed it was because Kurt had looked away and Rachel could only think it was because Kurt just wanted to ignore everything. Rachel tried her best to ignore Blaine raising an eyebrow, and in a rare moment, she seemed to be unaffected by it. Rachel didn't really want to be questioned by her reasons. She always let her ambition control her, causing her to seem incredibly insensitive. Rachel never intended to hurt people when she did so, but she really couldn't stop herself. 'Does it matter, Berry. You don't need to know everything'. Rachel turned around to glare at Quinn, opening her mouth to speak when Brittany spoke first. What Q said'. Rachel rolled her eyes, moving her hand away from Finn's wrist to fold her arms 'Actually I do! I'm the co-Captain of this club, and I need to know what's going on with my team mates. It's for the better of the team!' 'That's better. Right, now this week, I'm giving you your first official.'. Rachel jumped hearing the door being knocked, and had to stand up to see who it was. She really hated being short. 'Come in'. At first Rachel didn't know who it was until they spoke. 'I was told it was alright for me to tag along to this meeting and look in on it, is that okay?' Rachel turned around, and grinned seeing Anthony. 'I'm so glad he finally decided to drop by. Call me big-headed, but I'd like to think it was my influence that made him decide to join. She thought, pushing her hair back behind her ears. 'Sure come on in, take a seat. '. As Anthony took his seat, Rachel sat back down, sending him a friendly grin before looking at Mr Schuester again. 'As I was saying. This week, I'm giving you your first official assignment. Uniqueness. I want you all to pick a song that you feel reflects you, and at the next meeting, you're gonna sing it.' Rachel let out a small squeal 'Oh, I love these kinds of assignments' Her mouth, yet again, had started to move before she could stop it. 'I already have a million song choices!' 'Now as for today, I thought that we'd discuss Sectionals. Rachel. Didn't you say you had some ideas?'. She stood up 'I thought you'd never ask!' Rachel brushed herself down, before walking to the front of the class, standing next to Mr Schuester 'Now, for our opening number, I was thinking of a solo by yours truly! I'll be singing "I'm Alive" by Celine Dion. I was thinking that during the last chorus, all of you will join in. For the next number, a duet with Finn and I would work best -- us being the strongest, and most experienced performers, singing "A Whole New World" -- I think we all know where that comes from. And for our closing number, a group number, with me singing lead, though there's plenty of solos for everyone else. And that song is "Thank Goodness", from Wicked!'. She said, speaking at full speed. After she finished, Rachel took several deep breaths before looking at everyone in the room 'Soooooo...what do you all think?' [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] WORDS: 669 MUSE: NONE TAGS: NEW DIRECTIONS, ANTHONY NOTES: NONE.

Damn. Finn had to hand it to him, Kurt had the best disapproving looks ever. The way his eyes were narrowed, and his lips were set in a straight line.. it almost scared him, but before he could break, he looked at Kurt and Blaine's intertwined hands. He scoffed internally, shivering a little, and when he glanced back at Kurt, his gaze was towards the wall. Good. He wouldn't have to deal with the unpleasant task of looking at his so-called brother. Instead, he turned to Rachel, waiting for some kind of apology regarding the fact he'd been left, alone, in the library. Of course, Finn wasn't exactly expecting to get one.
Now, Finn...I know this looks bad, but I just wanted to get here early. But I'm glad that you're hear.
Right. Got it. Of course she was. He opened his mouth to protest, but realised it would be next to no good at all, and simply just returned her smile weakly. He let her take his wrist, following her to a seat and flopping down, trying to block out Kurt behind him. Watching Rachel carefully, Finn was happy to see her shoot him an apologetic smile, and his own brightened. That is, before she leant in, and he frowned at her words. Hey...what's going on between you and Kurt..? He shot a sideways glare at his brother quickly, before turning his attention back to Rachel, sighing a little. " It's.. complicated. " He told her quietly. Finn didn't really want to go into it right now. He would probably end up ranting, his voice rising so that everyone could hear, and not just Rachel. It definitely wouldn't be too good. For the moment, he just blocked out most things being said around him, trying to clear out his mind and think of a way he could be civil, and not start trying to rip out his brother's throat. He could always just.. not look in his direction. Finn figured that if he so much as saw Blaine doing the slightest thing to Kurt, he would totally freak, and assume his assumptions were correct. That, and they really didn't need to be all.. bleck.. at practice. Himself and Rachel weren't. Just as he was about to start shivering externally, he heard a knock at the door, and turned his head to see a boy he didn't know. Finn just smiled at him, still half lost somewhere he wasn't too familiar with. He kind of listened to Mr. Schue talk about some kind of assignment, but his attention was fully gripped when Rachel moved from the seat next to him, what little comfort he had disappearing. I thought you'd never ask! He watched as she brushed herself down, walking forwards to the front of the class. Finn smiled at her, waiting for her to start reeling ideas. He didn't have to try and catch up like most - he was used to it by now. Now, for our opening number, I was thinking of a solo by yours truly! I'll be singing "I'm Alive" by Celine Dion. I was thinking that during the last chorus, all of you will join in. Finn had suspected she'd be giving herself a solo, but he wasn't complaining. She was a very talented singer, after all. For the next number, a duet with Finn and I would work best -- us being the strongest, and most experienced performers, singing "A Whole New World" -- I think we all know where that comes from. Finn's smile brightened - duets with Rachel were always good. That, and it always gave him a chance to practice his own singing. And for our closing number, a group number, with me singing lead, though there's plenty of solos for everyone else. And that song is "Thank Goodness", from Wicked! He chuckled softly as Rachel took a few deep breaths, before smiling at her again. Soooooo...what do you all think? Now.. this was going back to his conversation with Kurt. He'd told - no, scrap that - he'd yelled at him to give other people solos, because no, no it wasn't just the 'Rachel and Finn' show. His brother had made the point that he never did anything to change her mind, when in actual fact, when they weren't at practice, he did try. But now..? Now he was in no state of mind to do any favours for Kurt. Instead, he smiled at Rachel. " I think those are all excellent ideas, Rach. At this point and time, Quinn was pretty much ignoring everything being said. She didn't really care to find out about the Furt drama while in a large group. If the need arouse, she would approach either one of both boy's privately. Rachel was just being a nutter head. That was all there was to it. She knew that any moment, Rachel Berry would start flapping her gums and no one, not even Finn, would be able to get her to shut up until she was done. It was one of the things on the long list that annoyed her about Rachel . She could start rattling them on but her thoughts were distrubed by Rachel's voice.

Quinn rolled her eyes. What do I think? I think I'd like to shove your ego so far down your throat that you choke on it. I think those are all excellent ideas, Rach. And there was where she decided to open her mouth.
Of course, you would agree, Finnessa. Cause you get center stage like always. Also Berry last time I check, this was New Directions not the Rachel Berry Show. So how's about you give another people a chance to sing. There are other people with amazing voices as well. You aren't the only one is this club with any flipping talent. With that, Quinn took a deep breath and crossed her arms under her chest. She was just waiting for Rachel to speak again.

As soon as the words had left his mouth, Will knew that a rapid spurt of words was about to pour forth from Rachels mouth. As he looked around the room, he noticed how the faces of many other members had fallen. Kurt had rolled his eyes, Blaines gaze instantly fell toward, Quinn didn't even look like she was paying attention, and the rest of them just looked annoyed. He knew that most of Rachels would most likely revolve around her and Finn, but Will was detirmined that this year, it wouldn't just be those two in the Spotlight. She quickly brushed herself down, before heading to the front so that she could better adress the group.
'Now, for our opening number, I was thinking of a solo by yours truly! I'll be singing "I'm Alive" by Celine Dion. I was thinking that during the last chorus, all of you will join in. She took a few deep breaths, at which point Will took another look around the class, to gleam a look at their reactions, Finn smiled, and Quinn just rolled her eyes. Before he could look at the rest of them, Rachel had asked
'Soooooo...what do you all think?'
Before Will could say anything, Finn had started talking. " I think those are all excellent ideas, Rach. " and before he could stop her, Quinn had something to say to that.

Before anyone could say anything, Will raised his voice and said, "Now that's enough. Quinn, as much as I agree with you, you don't have to put it like that. Guys. We are supposed to be a team. How do you expect to win Sectionals if all your going to do is bicker and argue. Now pull it together." With that done with, Will lowered his voice and said, "Rachel, those are some good ideas, but like Quinn said, They mostly bring focus to you and Finn. If we hope to win, we've got to have more than two people focused on. Take a seat." He knew that in order to drill that into her head, he was going to have to be a bit harder on her. Once she was seated, he turned to the group and said, "Alright. Who else has got some ideas?"

Post by Santana Maria Lopez [Away] on Dec 4, 2011 19:02:31 GMT
Santana ran out of the girl's bathroom at full speed. She had been hiding in there to avoid having to go to English, but she'd been listening to music for so long that she had completely forgotten that Glee practice was on, and that she was due to one. One teacher, who happened to be her English teacher, was about to stop her to probably yell at her for ditching and for running, but Santana wasn't exactly about to listen to them, and ran past, completely ignoring them.
"Of course, you would agree, Finnessa. Cause you get center stage like always. Also Berry last time I check, this was New Directions not the Rachel Berry Show. So how's about you give another people a chance to sing. There are other people with amazing voices as well. You aren't the only one is this club with any flipping talent."
. Santana stopped at the doorway. Was that...Quinn's voice? Since when was Quinn back in the New Directions. Giving a slight shrug, Santana walked in, glaring slightly as Rachel, who no doubt just went through her "Look at how amazing I am and let's showcase my talent" speech again, giving a setlist that involved her. Though, her face lit up when she saw Brittany, taking a seat next to her. "Now that's enough. Quinn, as much as I agree with you, you don't have to put it like that. Guys. We are supposed to be a team. How do you expect to win Sectionals if all your going to do is bicker and argue. Now pull it together.. Santana widened her eyes a little, smirking slightly, as she looked at Brittany. "Rachel, those are some good ideas, but like Quinn said, They mostly bring focus to you and Finn. If we hope to win, we've got to have more than two people focused on. Take a seat." Santana looked at Mr Schuester, looking incredibly shocked. Well. She certainly wasn't expecting that to happen. Santana was expecting it to be "the Finchel show" again, but fortunately, Mr Schue had finally put his foot down. "Alright. Who else has got some ideas?" Santana looked around at everyone else. So far, she didn't have any ideas whatsoever, but she might be inspired if anyone else did.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] WORDS: 380 MUSE: NONE TAGS: ND & ANTHONY NOTES: NONE
