Kurt sat alone in the Lima Bean, sipping on his coffee slowly. Though this place was very important to Kurt -- a lot of great things had happened here with Blaine -- it did sting to be here, thinking that he'd be stuck in Lima, working in here while Rachel's off living some big massive New York dream as a NYADA student. He hated that he had next to nothing on his application for the place. Kurt really didn't believe that he had a snowball's chance in hell of getting in there. He figured that he might as well just face the fact and accept that he was going to be stuck in this loser town for the rest of his life.
Looking at his watch, Kurt frowned a little, noticing that Blaine wasn't here yet, though he shrugged it off, guessing that he would be coming soon, and he was just being held back by traffic or something, and that he'll be here soon enough. Reaching into his pocket, Kurt pulled out his iPod, slipping the earphones in, deciding to listen to music while he's waiting. After turning it on shuffle. He frowned, seeing the first song that came on play. A Boy Like That from West Side Story. All it had done was make him think of Sebastian, actually aggravating him a whole deal. It had been a while since he'd felt like this..such strong loathing for someone. Kurt really hoped that the boy wouldn't appear, and attempt to stir something up.
While thinking about him, Kurt didn't even realize that he'd held onto his coffee cup so tightly that he ended up poking three small holes in the cup until he'd gone to take a sip, only to have some of the liquid spill out over his jacket and some over the table. Swearing under his breath, Kurt shook some of the coffee off of his sleeve, before standing up to get some napkins, and one of the heat covers, and walking back over to the table. After wiping down the table and his jacket, Kurt placed the heat protector over the small holes, sipping at the cup occasionally, glad that the coffee was only trickling down the side of the cup from the holes, rather than getting all over the place. He continues to watch the door, hoping that Blaine will be coming soon, and just praying that Sebastian's going to stay away.

Sebastian had been having and interesting time arguing with himself sense he had run into Kurt at Dalton a few weeks ago. He was becoming quite confused about his own thoughts. This never happened to him. He was normally so sure of what he wanted. He'd been so sure that Blaine was the one that he wanted. So, sure that he had wanted to steal Blaine away from Kurt. The boy was sexy as one could get with a bow tie. It made him smirk just thinking about it. He knew that Blaine oozed sex appeal. So, the question was why was he not sure of how he felt?
Entering the Lima Bean, there was one thing that caught his attention. How had he ever thought to tell the boy he had a hard lock case of the gay face? This boy was adorable. He wasn't the best at hiding his gay but he was still enough to grab his attention. Suddenly, Blaine seemed the furtherest thing from his mind. How had that happened? he sighed and strolled over to the boy. Hello, Kurt. Fancy meeting you here.

Surprisingly, the morning from hell might not be as much of an exaggeration as it sounds. First off the bat, Blaine had woken up late, something he very rarely tended to do. Turns out his phone had run out of battery during the night, effectively killing his alarm in the process, and making him late for breakfast. He stumbled out of bed, quickly dressing himself in whatever he could find, frowning to himself as he realized he didn't have time to gel his hair if he wanted to make it downstairs without being yelled at for not being punctual, as a proper boy should. Which, of course, meant his parents had a go at that instead. Apparently his curls were something to be ashamed off, and if he wanted to look his best, he should slick it up and smooth it down until it looked like he'd fucking swam to the breakfast table. Blaine just acknowledged his father with a simple 'yes, sir' and sat down to eat in silence. Jason was in an annoying as hell mood, insisting he kick Blaine under the table every few moments, until he spat out his orange juice at a jab that hit him right in the shin, causing him to be yelled at even further by his parents. Breakfast set the mood 'I feel shit' for the day.
Then he remembered with about half an hour to go that he was meeting Kurt at the Lima Bean, causing him to panic immediately as he tried to get ready. He changed clothes, opting for something more.. well. Something his boyfriend would actually approve of, before starting on his hair in the bathroom. Sure, Kurt had said it looked good with no gel, but he wasn't taking any risks. Not yet. He practically ran to the car, tripping on the last step as he went, effectively falling into his father who was just coming into the room with a cup of tea, which ended up all over the carpet. That... that was followed by.. nothing good. After receiving a brutal smack to his upper arm, which Blaine was pretty sure was going to remain bruised for eternity, he finally left the house, throwing himself into his car and heading for the coffee place he loved so much, but not feeling too happy about it. He supposed it was better he was out of the house, rather than in. Otherwise world war three might just break out, the rest of the Andersons against himself.
Then Blaine hit traffic, of course. Luck really wasn't on his side today. Muttering to himself as he waited, cursing a few times and just venting to his car, his grip on the steering wheel became vice like. It was probably better to get it out of his system now, rather than squeeze Kurt to death when he saw him. After a long period of time, one which consisted of Blaine just growing closer and closer to giving up, he finally pulled into the Lima Bean parking lot, not rushing to get inside like he thought he would've done. He walked towards the building steadily, taking deep breaths and trying to calm himself before he saw Kurt, not wanting to give him any cause for concern, managing a small smile when he walked into the coffee place. He went straight to the counter, figuring that Kurt would just be seated at their normal table, taking his order and starting towards where he suspected his boyfriend would be soon after. Blaine scowled almost immediately to see Sebastian looming over the table, trying hard not to kill the coffee cup in his hands. On other days he would've had the patience perhaps, but not today. That and it still wasn't long after the mall incident, his protective side was still showing fiercely, and he wasn't about to let Seb start anything. Hello, Kurt. Fancy meeting you here.
Blaine slid into the seat next to Kurt, instinctively wrapping one arm around his waist, pressing a kiss to his cheek before moving his lips to his ear. " Sorry I'm late.. busy morning. " He murmured quietly, before turning to look at Sebastian, smiling up at him. " Funny how we always seem to bump into you here. Take a seat? "[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

"Hello, Kurt. Fancy meeting you here." Recognizing the voice straight away with no need to look up to see who that was. He frowned a little, holding onto his coffee cup tighter, before realizing that he should loosen it, not wanting to go and get another heat protector in case he managed to pierce his fingers though that one as well. Taking a breath, Kurt looked up Sebastian. "Hey Sebastian..Isn't that much of a shock. We've pretty much met here every time we see each other"
. It was hard for him to be this civil -- the only thing that was actually stopping him from just ripping his head off right there and then was that he knew that Blaine wouldn't approve at all. Speaking of which, Kurt's gaze shot over to the door, his face lighting up when he saw his boyfriend walking into the coffee shop. Though, seeing Blaine scowling after getting his order, Kurt's face fell slightly, hoping that Blaine wasn't doing too badly. But after thinking about it, it wasn't that long after the incident at the mall..and Sebastian was talking to him alone. Knowing how protective he could get, Kurt figured that probably was a reason why he was scowling. Not to mention, Sebastian was a bit on the flirtatious side. Watching Blaine walk over to the seat next to him, he smiled when he wrapped one of his arms around his waist, closing his eyes over briefly when he kisses his cheek. Feeling Blaine's lips move to his ear, Kurt watched him from the corner of his eye "Sorry I'm late.. busy morning". He smiled softly at Blaine, kissing his cheek quickly, his eyes flicking over to glance at Sebasian "It's okay, you're here now, anyway" He whispered to him, still looking at him afterwards. "Funny how we always seem to bump into you here. Take a seat?". Kurt looked at Sebastian as Blaine spoke to him. Though, when Seb was offered a seat, Kurt directed his attention back to Blaine about to protest, before deciding against it, figuring it would just cause unnecessary drama. Looking back over at Sebastian, he smiled wryly "Yeah...Go ahead"

Hey Sebastian..Isn't that much of a shock. We've pretty much met here every time we see each other. Giving a chuckled, Sebastian smiled at Kurt. Though there was no way that the boy was going to smile back at him. he knew that much by now. Though he could still try. Maybe Kurt would warm up to him at some point. The boy could at least hope. There was no harm in that. Besides he was cute and charming and didn't manage to ever have people hate him. Well, it seemed that if he didn't tun Kurt around then someone might hate him. That is quite true, isn't it?
When he saw Kurt's face light up, he looked over his shoulder. There was Blaine. he kept the look of sadness off of his face. he thought that the smiled might have been for him as small as that chance was. A boy could dream of such a think. Not that Kurt would ever actually like him in that manner. Though after a minute or longer of silence, Blaine slid in next to Kurt. His arm sliding around the boy's waist. This upset him greatly. Though it never showed. It's okay, you're here now, anyway. he had managed to hear Kurt's whisper and wished he knew what Blaine had said. Funny how we always seem to bump into you here. Take a seat? He wanted to sit down so bad but he had to wait as see if Kurt would agree first. He so hoped the boy would. Yeah...Go ahead. He smirked and slipped into the chair across from them. Why thank you.

Having arrived late, Blaine was kind of interrupting them halfway through a conversation. He sat quietly next to Kurt, taking deep breaths and sipping his coffee carefully, not wanting to burn his tongue, trying to calm himself. He'd need to be relaxed if he was going to share his initial coffee date with Kurt with Sebastian, too. Hey Sebastian..Isn't that much of a shock. We've pretty much met here every time we see each other.
Blaine knew it was hard for Kurt to be civil, and really, he couldn't blame him. Though he found it easier himself, he could see why his boyfriend had the problem. Sebastian was really straightforward.. flirtatious, all over you like a rash. Blaine watched, cautiously, as Sebastian chuckled, actually smiling at Kurt. He didn't like it. Without really thinking, his grip around Kurt's waist tightened, his muscles tensing. Blaine wasn't usually this territorial, but since the mall, his levels of protection had been thrown out of whack. That is quite true, isn't it? Blaine just felt a whole lot better, being in Kurt's presence. Even though he'd had a crap morning, having Kurt in his arms, being able to kiss his cheek, just talk to him, it soothed him. He always felt so safe and relaxed around his boyfriend, and really, he'd been needing it today. Blaine returned the smile, closing his eyes over momentarily as he kissed his cheek, before opening them again to hold Kurt's gaze. It's okay, you're here now, anyway. Blaine smiled softly, leaning over to nuzzle his cheek affectionately in response before pulling away, turning his attention towards Sebastian. After he offered the warbler a seat, he glanced to Kurt, not really surprised to see him look as if he was about to protest. He raised an eyebrow a little, as if to tell him to behave, before letting out a soft sigh of relief when Kurt gave a wry smile. Eh, better than nothing. Yeah...Go ahead. Seemingly pleased with Kurt's approval, Sebastian smirked and slid into the chair opposite them. Why thank you. Blaine smiled a little towards him, taking a sip of his coffee, before looking up again. " So how've you been, Sebastian? The warblers all okay? "[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Kurt raises an eyebrow when he sees Sebastian smiling at him. Why was he doing this? Was he trying to make him lower his guard so he could make it seem like he wasn't interested in Blaine any more, and try to steal him away when Kurt wasn't watching? Was it some other devious plan that involved him and his guard being lowered some how? Or...was Sebastian actually just being friendly? Whatever the reason, it seemed like Sebastian was trying to get him to smile back. Kurt gives him a half-hearted smile, before placing the cup to his lips, taking a sip. Just as he's about to swallow, he feels Blaine's grip around his waist tightening, causing him to nearly spray his coffee out, and a slight whimper escapes from his lips. Kurt places the cup back on the table, wiping his mouth with the napkin, just mental cursing the guy at the mall for causing Blaine to be this territorial and on edge with any other guy in their company. "That is quite true, isn't it?"
. Kurt gives a slight shrug to Sebastian, looking up at him. "I suppose so." Kurt did feel safe with Blaine, no matter in whose company they were in. It was one of the very few times he actually felt safe at McKinley, when he walked down the hallways with his boyfriend. It was almost like being back at Dalton. Catching Blaine's gaze, he parts his lips slightly, just smiling at him. Continuing to smile as Blaine nuzzles his cheek, he lightly nuzzles back before redirecting his attention back to Sebastian half way, wondering what he was going to do here. If it wasn't for the look Blaine gave him, pretty much just telling him to behave, Kurt really had no doubts that it would have been an almighty struggle not to just snap at him. What was really curious..was why Sebastian seemed to what his approval. That...was really strange. Usually, he would just sit down with them, not even thinking about it. Kurt tries not to think too much on it though. Maybe Sebastian was just in a good mood and was just being friendly, Kurt really didn't know. "Why thank you.". Kurt keeps the wry smile on his face as he shrugs, pressing the cup to his lips. "..'Welcome". He murmurs after placing the cup back down, keeping his gaze on it "So how've you been, Sebastian? The warblers all okay?" Tearing his gaze away from the cup, Kurt looks up, raising his eyebrow, interested in how they were doing as well. Okay, so Sebastian knew that Kurt wasn't his and was in fact Blaine. That didn't mean that he liked seeing the boy with his arm around Kurt's waist. Especially when he seemed to get slightly more protective and tightened his grip, which cause Kurt to spray coffee. This would be an interestign conversation. I suppose so. He smiled again. So...
Sebastian took a seat across from them. He didn't like seeing them like this. they were being all cute with each other and it was sickening. It literally made him want to vomit. He really needed to look away but he just couldn't deal with it. ..'Welcome. He gave Kurt a smile. So how've you been, Sebastian? The warblers all okay? He chuckled a little. I've been doing great actually. The warblers are doing alright. Though Jay-D has been being a butt this year.

Blaine didn't know why Sebastian was smiling at Kurt. It wasn't even a smirk, which was all kinds of strange, because Blaine had been so sure all Sebastian could do was smirk when it came to types of smiles. But, here he was, smiling towards Kurt and seemingly wanting a smile back. Blaine watched through slightly narrowed eyes. If the Warbler was trying to lower Kurt's guard down somehow, play nice and then go in for the kill, it wasn't going to work. Blaine was completely committed to Kurt, and pretty much nothing in the world was going to change that. It was like a reflex, his grip tightening. He did it without thinking, and almost immediately, Blaine regretted it as he caused Kurt to choke. Biting his bottom lip, he loosened his grip on his boyfriend, though still keeping his arm around Kurt's waist. Watching as he wiped his mouth with a napkin, he leant into Kurt, affectionately nudging his shoulder as an apology. Blaine was trying hard not to let what the guy had tried to do get to him, but it was so hard to act like nothing had happened. I suppose so.
Blaine was put at ease once more as Kurt spoke, liking how he seemed so non-commital towards Sebastian. Like the Kurt he knew and loved. So... Well. This conversation had seemed to run dry. Running a hand over his gelled hair, Blaine smiled a little. " Your appearances always make coffee dates interesting, Sebastian. " Blaine wasn't usually so affectionate in public with Kurt. He knew how some people were so incredibly homophobic, and they'd both had a taste of said people. Blaine didn't want to draw attention to them, as a gay couple, but right now? He just needed to know that Kurt was his, that he was there, that nothing was going to pull them apart. Blaine didn't doubt that Kurt was going to stay his boyfriend, but his mind was just all over the place. After nuzzling into him, he watched as Kurt half turned back to Sebastian, keeping his hazel gaze on his boyfriend. He really was absolutely beautiful, Blaine never ever got tired of simply just sitting and looking at his flawless skin, his gorgeous eyes, just everything about him. The best part? Kurt was his, and Blaine just.. he loved it all. ..Welcome. Blaine bit his bottom lip as Kurt gave a wry smile and drank from his coffee, waiting until he could catch his gaze again, before looking into his eyes. He didn't say anything, just gave him a certain look. The one that said be nice and I'll make it up to you later. Blaine didn't linger on Kurt for too long, smiling as he turned his head back to Sebastian, hoping he hadn't caught the glance exchange and / or figured out what he meant. I've been doing great actually. The warblers are doing alright. Though Jay-D has been being a butt this year. Blaine laughed softly, nodding. " No surprises there. How's Nick? He sounded great the other day, when I was over there. You all did. Thad attempted to take over solos yet? " WORDS : Idkkk. It was...difficult for Kurt to smile back at Sebastian. Kurt knew he probably would never smile at him with more than just a wry smile, or with a smirk that was usually on the Warblers face. He was a smirky little meerkat after all. Feeling Blaine nudging his shoulder apologetically, Kurt looks at him, shaking his head with a smile, letting him know it was fine. "So..."
. Kurt bit his lip, swallowing back a little. This was a little awkward. Kurt really didn't know what to say to break the silent, whether or not to move on the conversation, or to start a new one. But Kurt knew he'd start ranting at Sebastian if he bad to start it. "Your appearances always make coffee dates interesting, Sebastian.". Kurt nods a little, taking a sip of his drink as he does so "That he does" As much as he would like to be, Kurt and Blaine weren't that affectionate in public, knowing damn well just how homophobic people could be. But he was just letting Sebastian know that he and Blaine belonged to each other, and it wasn't changing. Catching Blaine's gaze, Kurt knew what Blaine was trying to tell him: "be nice and I'll make it up to you later". Frowning a little, Kurt gave a slight nod. He was trying to be nice. Really. But it was just...so damn hard when pretty much every time he saw Sebastian, he just wanted to attempt to rip the boy's throat out. But he was going to try. For Blaine. " I've been doing great actually. The warblers are doing alright. Though Jay-D has been being a butt this year.". Kurt chuckles softly. Didn't seem like a lot had changed. "No surprises there. How's Nick? He sounded great the other day, when I was over there. You all did. Thad attempted to take over solos yet?". "Well, I suppose some things don't change...And you should really let me know next time you're practising. Okay, so maybe Sebastian had a knack for walking in on the Klaine coffee dates. Though he didn't rightly care. Sure, he would have to play nice to an extent. Especially now that his target was Kurt. However, he wasn't quite sure that he wanted them to know that just yet. He might just play everything off as if he is trying to soften Kurt up to make a sneak attack on Blaine. That was probably the best option that he had at the moment that wouldn't give him away. Your appearances always make coffee dates interesting, Sebastian. HE smiles at them both. That he does. The smile slips into a smirk. What can I say? I just have impeccable timing.Sebastian noticed that they were being affectionate in public. It was odd for them as a lot of people in Lima were homophobic. Though he knew that were trying to tell him that they were together and nothing was going to change that. He always liked a challenge. No surprises there. How's Nick? He sounded great the other day, when I was over there. You all did. Thad attempted to take over solos yet? Sebastian gave a chuckle. Nick good. Yeah, he did sound really good. Thad has been trying with no success to take over as the new you. Well, I suppose some things don't change...And you should really let me know next time you're practising. I'd love to see you all again. He smirked again. We have practice next friday if you want to stop by Kurt.
