As Blaine walked down the corridors of McKinley, he hoped he was at least half an hour early to Glee practice. He'd been singing to himself more than usual today, and he just needed to play something out loud, get it off his chest. He didn't know where all these feelings were coming from, but he could guess. Kurt. The other boy had changed his life so much, and although some may see it as too soon, and rushed, Blaine didn't see it that way. He loved Kurt - he wanted nothing more than to be able to wake up next to those beautiful eyes of pure blue, to hold him in his arms forever, to kiss him until his lips were swollen. He loved him so much, and he needed to sing about it. After a lot of debating with himself, he'd managed to pick the perfect song, and on his way to the choir room, he couldn't help but smile. He just hoped he'd be alone, so he wouldn't have to face more embarrassment this week. Now was the time for just him, the piano, and the empty room. Though Blaine loved to perform, and make people smile, even he needed his chance to sing alone.
As he entered the room, he was happy to see that no-one else was in there yet. Glancing at the clock on the wall briefly, he saw he had more than enough time to take as long as he needed. He just wanted it to be perfect. It didn't matter that no-one was there to see him - Blaine was singing for Kurt, and although he was the only one that would know, it mattered so much that everything went well. Wandering over to the chairs, he placed his bag under his seat quietly, careful not to disturb any of the others. Even though he was the only one there, he didn't want to disturb the calm atmosphere around him. At least, not yet. Glancing over to the piano, he took a small, deep breath, walking over to the instrument slowly. Sliding his fingers over it gently, he opened the lid, pressing down on a key lightly. The high, relaxing sound filled the room, and Blaine gave a smile. He took his place on the bench, letting his right hand familiarise itself with everything. Quietly, he played a few, short tunes he'd learnt as a kid, closing his eyes briefly. His parents had only let him learn how to play because it was useful, academical. Even then, they'd been annoyed at the fact they had to pay for his lessons. Blaine insisted he'd teach himself, but they had none of it. They were going to do this right. He had no choice but to put up with a very high and mighty teacher, though Blaine wasn't about to complain. At least, not out loud. He'd learnt how to play, and that was all that mattered.
Finally pushing away memories of the loudly decorated room and the smell of.. that thing.. he opened his eyes slowly. Glancing down at the lone hand tracing over the keys, he raised his other, beginning to glide through a small piece smoothly. Blaine gave a short smile, before allowing the lyrics to form in his mind. When, at last, how to play this certain piece reentered his mind, Blaine let his hands lead themselves gracefully.
Take my hand I'll teach you to dance I'll spin you around Won't let you fall down Would you let me lead? You can step on my feet Give it a try It'll be alright
The room's hush hush and now's our moment Take it in, feel it all and hold it Eyes on you, eyes on me We're doing this right
'Cause lovers dance when they're feeling in love Spotlight shining, it's all about us It's oh, oh, all About uh, uh, us And every heart in the room will melt This is a feeling I've never felt but It's all about us
Suddenly, I'm feeling brave Don't know what's got into me Why I feel this way Can we dance, real slow? Can I hold you, real close?
The room’s hush, hush And now’s our moment Take it in feel it all and hold it Eyes on you, eyes on me We’re doing this right
'Cause lovers dance when they’re feeling in love Spotlight shining, it’s all about us It’s oh, oh, all About uh, uh, us And every heart in the room will melt This is a feeling I’ve never felt but It’s all about us
Do you hear that love? They’re playing our song Do you think we’re ready? Oh I’m really feeling it Do you hear that love? Do you hear that love?
Do you hear that love? They’re playing our song Do you think we’re ready yet? Love I’m really feeling it Do you hear that love? Do you hear that love?
Do you hear that love? They’re playing our song Do you think we’re ready yet? Oh I’m really feeling it Do you hear that love? Do you hear that love?
Lovers dance when they’re feeling in love Spotlight shining, it’s all about us It's all about us It’s all, all, all, all Every heart in the room will melt This is a feeling I’ve never felt But it’s all about us

[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] As he'd been playing, Blaine didn't notice he'd closed his eyes, singing softly, yet loud enough for anyone that may have been passing to hear. He'd made sure to shut the door behind him, but there was only so much sound a door could block out. When finally, he finished, he played a few high notes before opening his eyes slowly. A surprised expression crossed his features, before he chuckled softly. " I thought I was alone.. "

This was a new school. Lyric was still getting use to it. It was only her second day. She hadn't even really had a chance to make any friends yet. Though not many people seemed to want to talk to her. She had already almost gotta herself suspend. Some in a football jersey had thrown a grape slushie up in her face. Wiping the icy beverage from her eyes, she had gone after him, grabbed his shoulder and spun him around. He had been greeted with a knee to the balls That had been a trip to the principal's office. However, she sweet talked her way into a warning and gave a smile promising that it wouldn't happen again. Though it would teach him not the throw slushies in her face.
Standing at her locker, Lyric was checking her appearance in the mirror. She had to make sure that everything looked good. Part of the reason she had come here was to get away from the people at Carmel. Vocal Adrenaline had wanted her for there club but that had meant changing who she was. Her image wasn't the Vocal Adrenaline image and had to fixed if she wanted to join. She told then to shove it where the sun didn't shine and transferred here a week later. Slamming her locker shut, she started to walk down the hallway. Passing one of the rooms, Lyric heard someone singing.

Opening the doorway, Lyric had found a boy playing the piano. He seemed to not notice her as his eyes were closed. He had a decent voice though. That much was for certain. If he wasn't on the glee club at this school then he should be. Surprise shot across his features when he noticed her standing there. She chuckled a little bit. I thought I was alone.. The girl who stood before him, looking a little more than amused, was one who he didn't recognise. At most, that meant she wasn't in his year. Blaine was relatively new to McKinley himself - he wasn't exactly familiar with all the students that he passed in the corridor, though he tried to remember as many faces as he could, should the situation arise where he needed to know who a certain someone was. The only people he was absolutely positive he knew were the other members of New Directions, and a pinch of people from a few of his classes. Naturally, being Blaine, it hadn't taken him while to get buddy-buddy with a few other Juniors that shared his lessons. But, aside from that, he was at a total loss. This girl could've been here for years, and he wouldn't even know. To him, she was just another unfamiliar face, and he really didn't like not being able to name someone. At Dalton, he could name every single boy, even if he'd never spoken more than one word to them. He just found it to be polite. McKinley, however, was much different.
She chuckled a little, and he guessed it was because of his initial reaction. Blaine hadn't been expecting anyone to walk in on him, and if anyone, he'd been positive a member of Glee club would've caught him. She, however, was completely unfamiliar. A smirk crossed her lips, and he had to raise an eyebrow slightly in question. So, who's the lucky guy that got your heart?
Of all things Blaine had been expecting her to say, this wasn't one of them. The first questions that had crossed his mind were 'What are you doing here?' or 'What are you singing?'. Not an indirect way of asking who his boyfriend was. How did she even know he was gay? Well, actually, glancing down at what he was wearing, his outfit probably answered his own question. The typical tight pants, shirt, cardigan over the top.. yeah, so it wasn't rocket science. Though it was very wrong of him to assume his clothes were what had tipped her off. Blaine wasn't one for stereotypes, especially when it came to sexuality, but was else could it really be? He'd always assumed he was the more masculine half of Klaine, but maybe it was easier to tell than he'd thought. Realising he'd drifted off, he snapped his attention back to the girl in the doorframe, hoping he hadn't paused for too long. Thinking back to her question, he couldn't help a smile creeping across his lips at his answer. " Kurt. Kurt Hummel. I don't know if you know him.. ? " Blaine's mind was already wandering, before he'd even finished his sentence. Kurt was like a drug to him, intoxicating his system and never failing to leave him breathless, as if he'd just been punched in the stomach. It sounded bad, when he described it like that, but it was such an incredibly amazing feeling. Blaine wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. The things that Kurt did to him.. there was an endless list, really, and Blaine loved every single one. Guessing that he was now smiling like an idiot, he tried - and failed - to push Kurt out of his mind, holding the girl's gaze with a shine to his eye. It was taking a lot of self control not to start gushing about his other half, but he refrained. Probably wasn't what she wanted to hear right now, considering she didn't even know his name.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] STATUS ; Complete! Lyric was watching the boy, he seemed a bit distracted. Though he was probably doing on of tow things. Either trying to figure out who she was which would be impossible as no one would even know her name around here. The other was he was probably thinking about that boy he had been singing that song about or for. She was entirely sure. Though there was a magically third option that maybe he was trying to figure out how she had know he was gay. It hadn't been easy to figure out but just something had told he that he wasn't into girls.
Kurt. Kurt Hummel. I don't know if you know him.. ? Then he seemed to drift off into his own little world again. This boy seemed to be doing that a lot. She couldn't probably watch away and it would take him about five minutes to notice this. Though she wasn't going to do this. Instead, she walked into the room and leaned her arms on the piano. She was looking at the boy and waiting to see if he might come back to earth. He was currently grinning like an idiot.
It was easy to tell that this boy just wanted to start gushing about this Kurt Hummel kid. Whoever the heck that that was. I wouldn't know him. I've only been going to this school for about two days now. She twirled the hair of her bangs around her finger. This was going to be an interesting year for her. That much she could tell. This defiantly was Carmel High anymore.

Blaine didn't really notice as she crossed the room, currently away, lost in his own thoughts. When he finally drifted back to reality, Lyric was leaning on the piano, looking right at him. He jumped a little, immediately feeling the back of his neck heat up as he grinned sheepishly, glancing down at the black and white keys. He really needed to get a grip of his feelings for Kurt. It was kind of understandable when he was in the other boy's presence, but starting to daydream when his boyfriend crossed his mind? He'd hate to have to explain that one to the teacher in class. I wouldn't know him. I've only been going to this school for about two days now.
He raised his eyebrows a little after she spoke, before giving a slight sigh of relief and letting a small smile appear on his lips. At least now Blaine had a reason not to know who she was. " Oh, well, he's pretty easy to find.. you'll probably know him when you see him. " Blaine wasn't suggesting that Kurt flaunted his sexuality, but it wasn't exactly mission impossible to tell which side he batted for. That, and as far as he knew, they were the only homosexuals at McKinley. If this girl saw him again, and he was with Kurt, she'd be able to put two and two together. " How's McKinley for you so far? " He asked brightly, opting to go for a topic other than Kurt. " I moved here from Dalton about a week ago. " [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote] STATUS ; Complete! Lyric was entertained as she watch the boy in front of here disappear into la-la-land. She hoped that maybe some day she would find someone that made her do that. if only she were to ever get so lucky. Though she doubted she would. Luck was never on her side of anything. Suddenly he jumped. She chuckled a little. It must have had to do with the fact that she had moved closer to him. He seemed relieved after she spoke and Lyric wasn't sure why. Oh, well, he's pretty easy to find.. you'll probably know him when you see him. She smiled. Probably. ll I have to do is look for you. She laughed a little. How's McKinley for you so far? She rolled her eyes. It wasn't the best first week at a new school. My first morning here I got slushied. I moved here from Dalton about a week ago. This surprised her. He seemed so comfortable here.

A year or so ago, Blaine would never have thought he'd get someone like Kurt. He'd just been looking, and looking, for the right person, and just seeing him singing Blackbird, he knew that Kurt was the one. Call it whatever you want - fate, luck, destiny - Blaine didn't care. He was just so unbelievably happy he'd found the one. Because there was no-one else. Kurt was it for him, and he loved him. Anyone with eyes could see it, when they were together. Probably. ll I have to do is look for you.
Blaine smiled as she laughed, his eyes shining brightly. " True. Though I'm a junior, and he's a senior, so.. if it's classwise, I'll be all on my bill. Lyric wished she could someday have someone who made her smile like that. It wasn't really asking too much. She just wanted someone who would love her for her. Whether her hair is crazy curly and nice and straight. Whether she's wearing her make-up or not. That they would care what they were doing as long as they were spendign time with her. Someone to love her. Some one to care for her but apparently that was too much to ask for at this point and time. True. Though I'm a junior, and he's a senior, so.. if it's classwise, I'll be all on my bill. She chuckled a little. Classes won't really matter as I'm a sophomore anyways. She watched Blaine frown. Kurt really was everything Blaine wanted and all he'd ever want, all he'd ever need. It didn't matter what they were doing, so long as they were together, they'd make it fun, and just enjoy each other's company. Even homework or studying completed together was entertaining, which Blaine had never, ever thought possible, but then again, he never, ever thought finding someone as perfect as his boyfriend would be possible, either. Life was just full of surprises - like a box of chocolates. You never knew what you were going to get. Classes won't really matter as I'm a sophomore anyways.
Smiling softly at her chuckle, Blaine gave a gentle laugh, shrugging. " I'm vertically challenged, almost anyone looks older than me. " Smiling brightly, from one corner of his mouth, he watched Lyric in genuine interest, as he always did in conversation. Yes, I know. I kneed the guy in the balls.. An eyebrow immediately raising, Blaine felt the pain at the simple mention of said action. " Ouch.. I hope he lost the ability to have kids. Not that he'd ever find someone to take him, you know. Being all.. football-y and just pure evil. " Frowning a little to himself, Blaine shook his head. " No, sorry, that was mean.
