Rachel sighed. She hated being in the library so much. She understood why she had to be here so much but it was still incredibly annoying. She wanted to spend more time in the Glee club or maybe doing work on her campaign. She knew that Kurt and Brittany weren't, well, happy with her for running for President, but she knew they would turn around sooner or later. After all, it would help her out a lot.

Rachel took a seat at the table near the middle of the room. She probably should've been reading her usual textbooks: history, science, English. But instead, she was reading a book all about the Broadway musicals for the past fifty years. It was far more interesting anyway.

Quinn was trying to get to the library to study. It was hard then she thought those. Everyone she ran into seeme dto want to question her as to why she had been acting so crazy when the year started. She was ignoring everyone. Eventually she managed to get to her locker and dump of her backpack. She grabbed her history book and the notebook she had assigned to the class. Then headed to the library.

Upon entering the library, she looked for an open table. Finding one, Quinn sat down and opened up her book. She was trying to get her homework done so that she could IM with Kurt and Blaine when she got home. Currently, she was wearing as dress that her mother wouldn't approve of. It was low cut in the front and the skirt was a little short then she normally wore her dresses. Though she didn't care. Kurt had helped her pick it out and she loved it. Writing down a few notes, she hadn't realized that Rachel Berry was sitting at the table she had picked.

Rachel looked up from her book when she heard someone sit at the same table and she was shocked to see who it was. It was Quinn. Even though she was shocked, Rachel guessed that Quinn didn't notice that she was there. After all, things had been...well..worse between them ever since Finn had kissed her at Nationals. Rachel wasn't going to apologize for it though, it wasn't her fault that Finn had chosen her over Quinn. Though, Rachel would sympathized with Quinn. After all, she did feel the same way when Quinn was together with Finn.

Looking at Quinn again, Rachel's eyes widened slightly, noticing what she was wearing. It wasn't because it was bad, it wasn't the case at all. She looked great, and it seemed to be a bit low cut...Rachel couldn't imagine that Quinn's mother would be happy with Quinn's choice of clothing. It kind of came hand in hand from being a strict Christian family. Rachel's dress sense was partially due to her religion, though, she wore it mainly because it was comfortable. Anyway, Rachel didn't imagine that Quinn would choose that for herself, and suspected that it was Kurt that had picked it out for her. Kurt seemed to be doing that for a lot of the girls in the Glee club...either that or it was just the ones whom he'd gotten closer to recently; he had chosen a lot of outfits out for her during the summer, though Rachel hadn't worn them out yet -- she didn't feel very comfortable wearing them. Rachel had seen them hanging around more and more recently.

Deciding to break the awkward silence, Rachel placed her finger on the page she was on, and gently closed the book over. She flattened her hair with her free had, and then looked at Quinn, with a smile 'Hey, Quinn' She said, trying to be friendly 'So, did Kurt choose that out for you?' She asked, gesturing to what Quinn was wearing.

This was the prefect time for her to study. She actually felt in the mood to study which was an odd one for her. Normally Quinn hated to study. The idea of doing so just bored her to tears but right now it wasn't. Prefect opportunity to do homework. This wasn't much too normal for her. This would allow her the extra chat time later. She wasn't able to chat and do homework the way that Kurt could.

Hey, Quinn. At the voice, she looked up. It took all of Quinn's strength not to roll her eyes. She needed to get herself under control and play nice with the dwarf. So, did Kurt choose that out for you? She gave a forced smile. Yes, he did.

It was strange enough to see Quinn willingly sit near Rachel, but it was also strange for her to be studying too. Was the world going crazy? It certainly seemed like that at the current moment, to Rachel. She felt her phone buzz in her pocket, and after taking it out, she frowned to see that it was only spam. Staring down at her phone, Rachel made a mental note to try and IM tonight. Studying had taken most of her time andd she hadn't been able to go on at all.

Quinn looked up when Rachel spoke to her. This was good. She wasn't pretending that Rachel wasn't there. It would really make things a whole load easier. 'Yes, he did.'

[/i] Her smile seemed forced, though Rachel didn't comment on it, it would be hypocritical anyway, seeing as the smile she returned was also forced somewhat 'Ah, I thought he did'. Thinking of something to say, Rachel quickly added 'It looks good on you'[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]

Quinn knew that it was probably weird to see her studying but it did happen. Normally it was just done in the quiet of her room where no one could see that Quinn Fabray actually did homework. Though she did actually do her homework and had a bit of a brain in her head. This wasn't something that she tended to clue people in on. It worked better for her image. Even though she didn't really have much of an image left to begin with.

Ah, I thought he did. Opening her mouth to speak, Rachel cut her off by saying something else. It looks good on you. She was surprised but it didn't show on her face. Um...thanks, I guess.

Though if she decided to ignore the dwarf then that might result in a fight and she was trying to be the bigger person like Kurt had told her. She was the bigger person after all.

Ignoring everything that Rachel said, was another thing that she had expected from Finn, but yet again, she was surprised and wrong
