Kurt didn't really know exactly what to think of the reason as to why Elizabeth had left him alone, but he couldn't say that he was complaining at all. Finding time apart from his fiancée was even rarer than finding a unicorn, it seemed, and the less time he spent with Elizabeth, the happier Kurt was. Even if the reason behind Elizabeth leaving him alone for the day was ridiculous. Apparently, because he was going to the barber shop that was allegedly owned by Sweeney Todd, and the reason for all of the recent disappearances of the men that suddenly just vanished, Kurt was going to be the next to go. She didn't even listen to the fact that Sweeney Todd wasn't even real, or that the opening of that barber shop just coincidentally opened around the time that the disappearances started, or that if the last place these men were really seen was at that barbers, then the police would've investigated it long ago, and the shop would be shut down. Kurt was actually only going to prove the insane woman wrong -- and that there was nothing to worry about.
Kurt had decided to abuse the fact that he was alone for today to do whatever he wanted. Because of Elizabeth dragging him everywhere, he rarely had the time to do whatever he wanted to do, and he wasn't going to let that opportunity slide. He spent a good few hours looking at everything at the nearby market place, making sure to look at everything on sale, and ended up buying a necklace for his mother. After finishing up in the marketplace, Kurt heads off to one of the tailors, deciding to get a new suit fitted. It had been a long time since he'd actually bought his own clothes, and chosen exactly what he wanted. It was impossible for him to do anything without Elizabeth breathing down his neck, and yet again, Kurt was taking advantage of the time he had without her. Upon arriving on the street with the tailors, Kurt takes out his pocket watch, continuing to walk towards the shop. He didn't have very long before he had to skip the fitting -- it usually took about an hour and a half, and it was about two hours before the shop closed. He'd only just be able to get one if he was lucky enough that there was no one else there, or if they were just finishing up. Not wanting to risk it, Kurt walks quickly, almost breaking out in a run to get there in time, only stopping when feeling his shoulder colliding with someone else. Not stopping his run, Kurt turns around, seeing a man a little shorter than him, with dark curly hair. Not having the time to turn back and give a proper apology, Kurt slows down a little as he approaches the shop "S-sorry!"
Kurt definitely considered himself lucky today. He was the only one who was in the tailors upon arrival, and managed to get all of his measurements down before closing time. It was pretty dark outside when he left the tailors, so as much as he wanted to waste a little more time away from Elizabeth, Kurt knew that it was best to finish up quickly before it really did start to get dangerous for him. He takes a deep breath once getting to Fleet Street, before walking up the stairs to the barbers. About to push the door open to the shop, he freezes in shock at what he saw in the window. He couldn't believe it.. Elizabeth was actually right, and the barber was a complete and utter psychopath. Seeing the chair swinging back, and falling down to god knows where, Kurt was about to run away from the shop, but was unable to actually start moving. Not that it mattered anyway. He was seen from the window, and the barber opens the door and mutters something Kurt couldn't make out before, grabbing his wrist and dragging him inside. Kurt tries to push him off, unsuccessfully, before screaming out for help as he's dragged inside, hoping to God that someone would hear him.
