Lyric was trying to keep herself in that training room until the District Eight was out of sight and out of mind. Though out of mind might be the harder of the two. How could she control her rage when she had seen this boy being buddy-buddy with that woman. It was a face that she knew so well. One that haunted her awake and asleep. She could never forget the face of the woman that brought about the event that broke what was left of Lyric's heart. He had left the training room finally. They were the last two there. Everyone else had gone up a while back but she and him had stayed. Maybe it would ave been better if she had left back with Rory but she hadn't and she couldn't change that now. She just had to let him get in the elevator before she left. That plan didn't really work out. Before Lyric could stop herself, she was out the doors before she could stop herself. The next thing she remembers is her version going back to normal and she has the boy for eight pinned against the wall. Her forearm in his throat. If it wasn't for Tina, then Kurt was sure that he would've lost his mind by now, had a complete breakdown. But she kept him sane. Tina was one of his best friends, and the fact that she was here with him was a great source of comfort to him. Even though things were nothing like they were back in District Eight at the Capitol, Kurt did feel at home in a way because of Tina. Well. As home as he could be here. It was hard to forget that these people were sending him off to his death. But Tina was one of the few mentors that didn't talk to him just about the Games. Tina hated her memories of her time there. Throughout her time in the arena, Tina was pretty elusive, hiding, and keeping to herself, and would steal supplies from other Tributes. She hadn't killed any of the other Tributes apart from the boy from District Twelve that year, and that was only because they were in the final two together. Kurt never mentioned it to Tina. He knew that she didn't like thinking about it.
Kurt stayed back late during this Training session. Usually, Kurt left with most of the others, but this was the first time he'd stayed even after the Careers were gone. He did need to work on his archery skills. Unfortunately, the girl from District Twelve was still there. But it wasn't too bad. Kurt would rather it be her than a Career, or District Three's male. He decided to risk it, and just practice, only leaving when he consecutively got every shot right on target. He knew that if there was going to be a bow and arrow in the arena, they wouldn't be like the one he had back home, but rather like the ones here. So Kurt had to make sure that he was as good as he could be. Kurt knew he had no chance in hell of surviving. He wasn't going down without a fight. Kurt had decided this before he even stepped on the train, but Kurt doubted he would be able to act on it if it weren't for his conversation with Blaine on the way to the Capitol.
After a few hours, Kurt left the Training Area, feeling exhausted from all the shooting, running and climbing he'd done while in there. Maybe he'd over done it.. But it was on par of the training his mother put him through when he was younger. Only this time, he was a bit more prepared for it. He knew what he was doing. Well, knew more at the very least. Kurt wasn't about to say he was an expert, or as good as the Careers, but he wasn't dreadful. If they just had a little bit more days of training, then Kurt reckoned that he would probably be among the worst of the Careers. Maybe that was a little hopeful? Kurt didn't really know...or care if he was going to be honest. He was just too much into thought about the day when he was going to be thrown into the Arena. It was only a few days away after all. Tomorrow was the last day of Training before the private sessions. Kurt knew exactly what he was going to show off, but he felt that he was going to forget how to shoot straight and end up making a fool of himself, getting a low score. It wouldn't be so bad to make himself seem awful in the training area, but Kurt needed a decent score to get some sponsors. His chances of making it as far as he could would just be gone if he got a low score. He needed sponsors. Of course, there were other things he had to fix first. His attitude, as Chris loved to remind him so much, was the main one. The other, was to pay more attention.
Which, Kurt realized that he really needed to fix. Especially after the whole run in with District Three. And because of his current situation. Kurt didn't even notice that the girl from District Twelve was approaching him, until he was shoved against the wall, her arm pressed against his throat. Upon contact with the wall, Kurt flinches, being so used to being shoved around at school, and his arms flew up in a defensive stance at his chest. After managing to normal his breathing somewhat, Kurt opens his eyes, glaring at the girl. "What the hell -- Get off me!"
[/b] He snaps, bringing his hands up to push the girl away from him. WORDS:[/b] 773 MUSE:[/b] NONE TAGS:[/b] LYRIC! NOTES:[/b] Sorry this took so long! Hope its' okay (:[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify][/size]
