Six months of living with Kurt and things had started to change. They were getting a little more open with each other but still not even close to as close as they use to be but it was getting there. Maybe they would be different sooner or later. She they would actually be friends again one day. Maybe that would happen at some point but they had a lot of complicated history between them. It was just how they were now. Rolling over on the futon, Lucy stretched and gave a big yawn before glancing at her phone. At least, it was early enough that she could get the bathroom before Kurt got up and took over. It was always worht it to drag herself out of bed and use that time to get ready. She gave another yawn and ran her fingers through her hair as she walked to the bathroom. Brushing her hair, she glanced in the mirror and almost freaked out. There was a huge bruise covering most of the left side of her face. Hell, she had almost scream loud enough to wake Kurt. Then she started to scramble around for her make-up. She had to cover this up before Kurt saw it. She didn't feel like have to explain about her father to anyone, let alone Kurt. She couldn't find it though. Where had Kurt put her make-up bag last night? TAGGED; Kurtie <333 STATUS; Complete! WORDS; 240 MUSE; THE ONE THAT GOT AWAYNOTES; let the Quirt caring begin

Six months ago, Kurt wouldn't have thought he would've been back in the hellhole that was Lima, Ohio. He also never thought that he would let someone live with him, especially someone that was so close to him in the past. Even more shockingly, Kurt didn't think that he would be able to express any more emotions that aren't him just being...depressed. Though, it was only with Lucy that this side was shown. He still wasn't fully open, but he was a lot more so than he was when Lucy had first moved in. At least there was some progress here.
Kurt had been lying awake for a short while now. He was just staring up at the ceiling, his mind drifting into what his life would be like if he hadn't moved back to Lima. Kurt knew it wouldn't be good either way, but Kurt had decided. Lima was better. He wasn't going to be happy, but here he was slightly happier, probably only because of Lucy. Kurt didn't think that he would be as happy as he could be. Unless, someone had actually managed to make some device that would bring people back from the dead, or if he somehow found the Resurrection Stone.
Kurt had drifted off again, before waking up, hearing something coming from the bathroom. It sounded like Lucy. Kurt didnt' know if anything bad had happened? But he knew that it was best to check and see what was up. Just leaving it, and then finding her dead, or in a really bad way a few hours later was much worse than it being a spider or something. Slipping on his nightshirt, which, he'd managed to throw off when he was sleeping last night, Kurt opens the door, and heads over to the bathroom. Kurt knocks on the bathroom door twice, and yawns. Pushing the door open slowly, Kurt rubs his eyes, standing in the door frame. "Is everything .... O..kay.."
[/b] Kurt trails off, eyes widening at the sight of the bruise on Lucy's cheek. It... It wasn't there last night. Where the hell did it even come from> Trying to form a coherent sentence, Kurt just stutters, unable to look away from the bruise for more than two seconds. Lucy was really starting to wish that she hadn't gone to talk to her father when she stumbled across him yesterday. Why was she so stupid? She was suppose to be smarter than this. She wasn't suppose to talk to the man her had kicked her out and was now married to the very woman that he had cheated on her mother with. The very reason that she had was now dead. If she hadn't left she never would have been murder. Probably hadn't been Lucy's best decision to confront the man about that. It had ended with a back hand across the face and him walking away. Now she was still trying to find her make-up bag. Lucy hadn't even realized that Kurt was in the door frame until he had spoken. Is everything .... O..kay.. Suddenly, she was standing up straight and their eyes locked in the mirror. The bruise covered her entire left cheek and had spread up to her forehead slightly. Sh didn't know what to say to Kurt. She sighed and continued to look for her make-up bag. It's fine, K. Now where the hell did you hide my make-up bag. TAGGED; Kurtie <333 STATUS; Complete! Kurt couldn't stop staring at the bruise on Lucy's face. He couldn't help it. A million questions just went through his mind as to why it was on Lucy's face, and was actually spreading to her forehead, but was unable to actually think of a reason. His mind was just..It was a complete and utter buzz. He couldn't think straight, no matter how hard he tried. He was just... for the first time ever in years, ever since his parents were still alive, and when Lima wasn't that bad of a place, Kurt was actually concerned, and he just felt so damn wrong. He wasn't supposed to get attached to anyone, because he was just going to be hurt again. He knew it. "It's fine, K. Now where the hell did you hide my make-up bag."
[/b][/i]. Kurt frowns a little, and avoids the question, folding his arms. "Where did you get that bruise...?"[/b] He asks, his voice soft. WORDS:[/b] 160 MUSE:[/b] NONE TAGS.[/b] LUCY!
