Jade didn't think she would ever join Glee club -- she didn't think it was lame or anything -- it just wasn't something that she was interested in. But she was glad she did so. Because she was having a hell of a lot of fun there. She was usually tired at the end of the day, but it was definitely worth it as far as she was concerned.
Once it had finished, Jade leaves the club room, and goes off to catch a bus to Lima, where she agreed to meete one of the Warblers, Dave. They both went to the same elementary, and middle school. So, they knew each other pretty well. Waking into Breadstix, where they were going to meet, Jade sees Dave standing in the line to be seated, Running up, Jade jumps on his back, grinning when she rests her head on his shoulder "Hey Dave!"

"Jesus Christ, just how long is this going to take?" Dave muttered under his breath as he waited in line at Breadstix. Sure, he liked the place, but waiting to be seated was one of the most tedious things he subjected himself to on a regular basis. "Damn, Harley, hurry it up, will you?" he sighed, getting impatient was only going to put him in a bad mood. But, right on cue, he was greeted with a tackle and a "Hey Dave!" from the very person he was waiting for.
He turned, greeting Jade as poker-faced as he could "S'up? I was wondering when you'd get here." He gestured to the front of the queue, "Not got too long to wait now." he shrugged, trying to make it seem like he didn't care, in reality, he was already bored out of his mind, but at least having someone to talk to would help things somewhat, "...You think they'll let me wear my shades in there?"

As usual, Dave had his poker face on. Jade didn't even think she'd seen him smile before. But she didn't mind. Dave was really cool and she liked him. A lot. That was all that mattered. That, and he didn't hate her guts. That would just totally suck "S'up? I was wondering when you'd get here". She shakes her head, beaming up at him. "You weren't waiting that long for me, you know." She teases lightly, shaking her head at Dave. "Not got too long to wait now.". She nods "True dat.". She hoped that it wasn't going to take too long, but hopefully, Dave was right and it really wasn't going to be long. "...You think they'll let me wear my shades in there?". She pauses to think for a few moments before shrugging "I don't see why not! They would have made you take them off by now, right?"

Dave looked over to the front of the queue again, looks like they were next up. "You weren't waiting that long for me, you know."
"Yeah man, I know. We should be in in, like, two minutes now." he shrugged.
"I don't see why not! They would have made you take them off by now, right?" Jade replied with a shrug. Dave frowned.
"Nah, they'd probably wait until I was in there, or jus about to go inside. he sighed "They don't care what I wear outside, y'know? he shifted on his feet, now begining to feel uncomfortable. He didn't remember what the place's policy was. Damn.
This could be a long night...

Looking down the queue, they seemed to be first up. Oh. That was good. Jade didn't really mind waiting for too long, but Dave seemed like he might get a little annoyed if he was waiting for too long. Besides, actually sitting down and eating would be nice as well! "Yeah man, I know. We should be in in, like, two minutes now." Jade nods, smiling up at Dave. "Yeah, we probably should!"
Seeing Dave frown, Jade tilts her head to the side in question, waiting for Dave to talk "Nah, they'd probably wait until I was in there, or just about to go inside. They don't care what I wear outside, y'know?" Jade waits for Dave to finish speaking, before shaking her head "Well.. they didn't tell you outside...and we're inside now! I think you'll be fine. You don't need to take them off I think. And there should be a sign if you can't wear them!"
