Kurt was waiting in the sitting room for District Eight, waiting for both Scarlett and one of their mentors, William Schuester, to appear. Kurt knew of Will Schuester, but Kurt hadn't really made any conversations at length with the man. No, Kurt usually got stuck with his other mentor, and he was less than pleasant. Calling him a rude little bastard on the first day at the Capitol? Not exactly what Kurt wanted to hear, even though he knew it was kind of true. From what he'd met of William, he actually was fairly nice, and Kurt thought it was kind of unfair that the other mentor pretty much demanded that only he'd be giving advice. Fortunately, for Kurt, Will had arranged for him and Scarlett to meet him in this lounge, just them, so he could give them proper advice. Kurt didn't know how much Scarlett got from William, but he figured that she would get more than him. But he really didn't know. For all he knew, Scarlett could get a hell of a lot less. Getting slightly bored, Kurt leans back, and closes his eyes. He wasn't going to sleep at all, not being remotely tired, but Kurt just neefds to relax a little bit, and blocking everything out for now seemed to be the best way to do that. Because every time he looked around here? Kurt was reminded that, yes, he was living a life he never thought he'd experience, but he was also being sent off to his death. And that really wasn't a comforting thought at all.

Will was currently quite annoyed. Ever since winning the Games three years ago, Will had had to mentor all the other tributes. But, like every year, every time it came to giving advice, Christopher had taken over giving out the advice and Will had been forced to take a back seat. He’d never like Chris. He had been his mentor when he had been chosen as tribute, and as far as he could recall, his advice mainly consisted of how to keep yourself looking good and how to attract sponsors. From what Will could remember, he had been forced to learn how to survive all on his own. Sure Chris had managed to help him figure out his strengths and tell him what to train on, but that was it. And he was determined that this year he was going to give them the best advice that he could, even if it meant going behind Chris’s back and arranging a meeting with the tributes without him. Which was exactly what he had done. He was now on his way to the meeting place, and trying to avoid Chris at the same time. If he found about the meeting, he would be pissed at Will, then follow him to the meeting, and Will would once again be forced to take a backseat as he dished out information that had been given only days before. Thankfully, he managed to make it to the room without Chris finding him. Now he just had to hope he wouldn’t find them. The male tribute was already there, sat in a seat, with his eyes closed. Hopefully he wasn’t asleep. He approached the boy and said You awake kid?

Christopher was just someone that Kurt really hated, and Kurt didn't think he'd be able to feel that strongly about something. He did help Kurt with a few things, like not letting the other tributes know that he was skilled in archery, but anything else? Nope. It didn't help him, and Kurt really just felt awful after it. All Christopher seemed to care about was making yourself looking good, and get sponsors. Which, wasn't going to happen with Kurt. His depression wasn't going to help him win them over with his personality, and he wasn't like the Careers. All the girls could bat their eyelashes, and look amazing, and they'd have the Capitol eating out their hands. The Male Careers? Well, they were all pretty much just...kind of hot really. They all had the right charms to go with it as well. It was pretty much a given for the Careers. They were always charming in some way, or could act like that for the cameras, and always had great looks. Quite a lot of the Tributes were like that, one that struck out at him straight away was Bl- No. He shouldn't be thinking like that. He should not be thinking about how attractive another Tribute was, no matter how true it was. Though, Kurt felt like he wasn't that lucky. A lot of them managed to look good enough without all the extra help from the Capitol -- the make up and clothes just completely made everything else blow out of proportion, even though they didn't need it. Kurt felt like he did though. He couldn't just walk out, and expect people to think that he was some kind of dashing hero. Nope, he was pretty much just the effeminate male tribute from District Eight. The only interesting thing about him was his mother, and not everyone knew about that. But he was glad to be meeting up with William. Kurt never really got any advice from him, seeing as how Christopher always forced him to take a back seat. He didn't know if Will would be a lot of help, but hey. He couldn't be worse than Chris. And he wouldn't repeat himself constantly, hopefully "You awake kid?"
[/b][/i] Kurt opens his eyes and sits up a little. Looking up, he sees William Schuester, the mentor who actually hadn't gotten the chance to be a mentor yet. Nodding, Kurt sits himself up. "Yeah... I'm awake. Was just resting my eyes for a bit."[/b] WORDS:[/b] 415 MUSE:[/b] WE ARE YOUNG[/B][/SIZE][/FONT][/URL] TAGS:[/b] WILL AND SCARLETT!~ NOTES:[/b] NONE[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify][/size]

Scarlett hated Chris was a passion. The man was no good with the advice. It also didn't help that the man seemed to like to fall her around. She had even caught him waiting outside her room on more than one occasion. This little fact was making it hard to sneak off and meet up with Will and Kurt. She really hated this man. Why was he her mentor? Wasn't the games punishment enough without him stalking her? For a moment, Scarlett thought she had shaken him but when she peaked around a corner to make sure he wasn't there, he appeared. He strolled up behind her and took a deep whiff of the scent in her hair. She cringed. Must ditch him, somehow. Then she had an idea. She spun around with the most pleasant smile she could muster. Chris, do you think you can sneak me a mug of hot chocolate? My room won't give me one. He nodded and turned her face to kiss her cheek before walking off. This was her chance to make a run for it. She dashed off towards the meeting place. Not even bother to wipe her cheek as it would cost percious time that she currently didn't have. Once she was in the room, she closed the door and ran her sleeve over her cheek. Sorry, I'm late. I had to ditch the perv. Kurt knew what had happened because he'd saved her from Chris on the train but Will had no clue that Chris had been basically stalking her since they left District Eight. Keeping his eyes on William for a while, Kurt finally turns to look at the door, hearing it open, Scarlett stepping inside. She was rubbing her cheek (had Chris tried to pull something again?), and seemed to have ran here. Raising his eyebrows a little, Kurt looks right at her "Sorry, I'm late. I had to ditch the perv."
[/b][/i]. Kurt lets out a soft, drawn-out sigh. Even after helping Scarlett out -- one of the last nice things he'd done towards any of the other Tributes -- he still was going on at this. "Again..? Why is he even allowed to help the Tributes if he's so damn... sleazy and incompetent?"[/b] Kurt says irritably. "It's really no surprise we've not had any Victors since --"[/b] Cutting himself off, Kurt trails off, glancing at Will from the corner of his eye "Since Mr Schuester. He didn't have to worry about the guy being a complete and utter creep."[/b]. Now that he'd actually thought about it, Kurt realized that his mother must have spoken to the perverted creep. Did he try to... Do what he was doing to Scarlett to her? The thought, almost actually made him sick, and Kurt pushes the thoughts out of his head as quickly as possible. Looking up at Will, Kurt angles his head slightly "So, why exactly are we here...?[/b] WORDS:[/b] 222 MUSE:[/b] WE ARE YOUNG[/B][/SIZE][/FONT][/URL] TAGS:[/b] WILL AND SCARLETT!~ NOTES:[/b] NONE[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/justify][/size]
