Blaine waved half heartedly as Kurt left, knowing full well he wouldn't return it, and just keep walking towards his car. It didn't really bother him. Why should it? The boy was a total jerk to him, and Kurt probably knew it. Starting to head back into the house, he closed the door with one hand behind him as he walked away, running a hand through his hair and sighing exasperatedly, slowly making his way into the living room. There were various books and stationary scattered across the table, his own notes tucked under said books and some just laying around. Frowning a little to himself, he gingerly started to collect them, gathering them into a neat little pile and settling down on the closest couch. Blaine began to flick through them idly, reading what he'd put, just taking it in, nodding a little to himself. Like always, he refused to start on the actual project until he'd made significant notes and knew exactly what he was doing. Kurt hadn't been so sure, obviously, but Blaine wasn't about to change his methods for some Cheerio. He was a straight A student, and he'd achieved that by doing things his way. Hearing the door, Blaine raised his head slightly, his heart fluttering. He hoped to god it wasn't one of his parents. They'd find something to criticise as soon as they saw him, he knew it, and he didn't need it at all right now. However, as soon as the door slammed, Blaine frowned slightly. So it wasn't his parents, but was his sister really much better? Rachel had suffered from their parent's massive mood swing as well, but had taken a completely different path to the one he had chosen, and well.. it just made her all the more irritating. Frowning to himself, Blaine continued to look through his notes, hoping she wouldn't see him, or at least head straight upstairs.

After another day of trying to win Fabray over, and just tormenting the other Cheerios, Rachel didn't go home straight away. She needed to get as far away from there as she could. Blaine would be home, more than likely, studying or something stupid like that.. Rachel just wanted time alone, but out of all of the family? Rachel would rather be stuck with Blaine. At least they didn't completely hate each other. So, to kill time, Rachel heads off to the park, climbing on top of the climbing frame. Getting a little more comfortable, Rachel reaches into her pocket and takes out a cigarette, lighting it. Looking around, it was hard not to think about the times she went here as a child. Before the mood swing her parents had that affected both her and Blaine. Shaking the thoughts out of her head, Rachel tosses the cigarette on the ground, and leaps off the frame. It was starting to get dark now, and Rachel had to be home before her parents. Otherwise? All hell would break loose. She just hoped that Blaine wouldn't say anything that would get her in deeper shit if that happened. Though, it didn't happen. Even though they didn't get on? They pretty much always stood up for each other whenever one of their parents started. When getting to the house, Rachel's eyebrows raise in surprise, seeing someone familiar walking out. Hummel...What the hell was he doing at her house? Exchanging a glare with him, Rachel watches him drive away before walking into the house. Slamming the door shut behind her, Rachel opens the door slightly, smirking a little at the sight of Blaine on the couch. Walking into the living room, Rachel throws herself over the back of the couch, letting her legs hang over the back of thie couch as she sets herself down next to Blaine. "Heyyyy, Blainey"
She smirks as she looks up with him "What was Hummel doing here? Are you seriously sharing a class with him? I always thought you were smart, Blainey" WORDS: 345 MUSE: NONE TAGS: BLAINERS >;D NOTES: It's okayyy~ Starters are never fun, haha [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Blaine just buried his face further into his book as Rachel came into the house, not really reading the words now, just trying to hide from his sister as best as he could. He knew his attempts were futile, but he could try. He could always try. They didn't completely hate each other, no, but ever since their parents just.. lost it and went to hell, Rachel had changed significantly. Much more than Blaine himself had, and it kind of just.. hurt to see her like that. She used to be a little like him, not a complete nerd, but she did her work, she actually cared. But now? Now she was the resident badgirl at McKinley, smoking and flirting and just.. throwing her life away. Blaine didn't try to talk her out of it. He knew that would be completely pointless. Hell, they didn't talk much at all anyway, and if they did? It was if Blaine needed to call her down for dinner, or most likely, if she had something to tease him about. Which seemed to be a hell of a lot of the time. Trying to ignore the fact she'd just thrown herself over the back of the couch, Blaine tried to focus on his Biology book, pushing his glasses up his nose smoothly. Heyyyy, Blainey.
Glancing to the side, over at her, Blaine noticed the ever present smirk across her lips, the very same that just freaked him out completely. " Rachel.. " He greeted quietly in acknowledgment, before his hazel eyes flicked back to his book. What was Hummel doing here? Are you seriously sharing a class with him? I always thought you were smart, Blainey. Blaine's heart started to beat like a drum, his body heating up and he could just feel the flush across his cheeks in protest, swallowing back. " I.. I am.. smart.. " He squeaked meekly, not daring to look her in the eye, just staring down at the pages in front of him, seeing nothing but meaningless words. " We're.. p-partners.. for a project.. in.. in Biology.. " WORDS : Idk. TAG : Rachel. :) MUSE : None. NOTES : They're really not. xD Starters and titles are the banes of my existence. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

The sight of Blaine burying his face further into his book was just hilarious to Rachel. She knew that he was probably just trying to hide from her. She didn't even know why he'd bothered to attempt to hide anyway. Rachel was probably going to see him, and they didn't hate each other. But they both changed a hell of a lot from the past. Blaine was just.. It was like he was the poster boy for a stereotypical nerd. Like he'd just walked out of one of those shitty anti-bullying videos with poor acting you'd be forced to watch in school, or something. Rachel wasn't one to talk though. After that thing with their parents? She'd gone completely off the rails, and everything about her school life just... deteriorated. The teachers did try to help, because they knew that before? She wasn't anything like this, and actually bothered turning up for classes, always did her work, and very rarely stepped out of line. It never worked though when people tried to help. Her parents not being complete assholes would happen first before Rachel changed for them. "Rachel.."
. Rachel's smirk just widens, knowing how much her smirk freaks Blaine out. She wasn't doing it intentionally -- well, she was trying not to smirk too much -- but it was just...natural really. Seeing the blush on his cheeks, Rachel chuckles darkly, shaking her head a little before looking up at her. "I.. I am.. smart.". Letting out a false, exasperated sigh, Rachel shakes her head, before trying to catch Blaine's gaze "But Blainey...you're in the same class as Hummel. That boy is a moron.". She said, keeping her voice soft, pouting in mock disapproval. "We're.. p-partners.. for a project.. in.. in Biology..". Snorting a little with laughter, Rachel covers her mouth, not wanting to go into a fit of the giggles " 'Partners in a project for Biology'?" She repeats, blinking slowly. "Is that what you kids are calling it these days?" WORDS: 332 MUSE: NONE TAGS: BLAINERS >;D NOTES: Ugh, I know right? I'm better at starters, than thinking up titles. My brain switches off for titles xD Also, I'm really sorry about Rachel xD She's...going to be like this unless the parents start bitching, haha[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Everything that Rachel did these days just freaked Blaine out completely. She moved like some predator moving in for the kill, and really? That was an accurate description of what she did. Blaine knew that Rachel was trying to win over Quinn Fabray, and, much to his secret amusement, it wasn't working. The fact that he was quiet made him a lot more observant, and pretty much anything he passed in the corridors? He could remember with ease, even if he was pushed into several lockers along the way, or slushied halfway into his walk. Blaine had learnt to deal with the abuse, especially now that he truly was a nerd. Before he'd at least had a tongue on him, some spunk, but now? He just took it. He was past the point of really caring what happened to him, so long as he was left alone when he got home. Which, really, was still asking too much. Rachel Freakin Berry was his sister. He couldn't escape. But Blainey...you're in the same class as Hummel. That boy is a moron.
Risking a glance in her direction, Blaine shook his head weakly. " No.. he.. he just.. d-doesn't apply himself.. " He answered quietly, quickly flicking his gaze back to his book. Hearing Rachel snort with laughter, he frowned a little in confusion, looking over at her with a wary expression. What had he done now? 'Partners in a project for Biology'? Nodding slowly, Blaine frowned further, waiting for Rachel to say something else. Is that what you kids are calling it these days? Blinking slowly, Blaine ran over what he'd said in his head, before realization sunk in and an extremely deep blush crossed his cheeks, his ears pinking and his body quickly heating up. " Rachel! " He squealed, tucking his knees up into his chest and trying to make himself as small as possible out of embarrassment. " That's.. that's.. v-vulgar.. " He whimpered out weakly. " We.. d-didn't.. have.. have.. " Blaine frowned deeply, unable to bring himself to speak the forbidden word. WORDS : Idk. TAG : Rachel. :) MUSE : None. NOTES : I just use lyrics most of the time. xD Haha. And it's fine, it's amusing. xD [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Rachel didn't always set out to freak out Blaine. Sure, whenever they were alone, or if she was in a situation where she would be interacting with him, Rachel would try her best to freak him out even more — it was just amusing to her, really. But when anyone else tried it? No. That just wasn't acceptable. Only she was allowed to screw her brother around. If anyone else did it, and Rachel caught them then there would be hell to pay. But Rachel was careful to make sure that no one else saw her, and whenever she was abusing one of the jocks, she never gave them a reason why — it was just like a random attack for them. What made the attacks on Blaine worse was what had happened to them with their parents. Before, he could at least stand up for himself, by making some snarky comment, but now? Nothing. The reverse happened to Rachel. She just took the slushie facials, and cleaned herself up. Now, she would just shove the person who'd threatened to throw the slushie into the nearest set of lockers, and — depending on her mood — she would end up throwing the slushie in their hands in their faces. At first, it did just start with her snapping at them, or just shoving them away, but it eventually progressed to what she was now. "No.. he.. he just.. d-doesn't apply himself.."
Rachel raises her eyebrow, frowning a little "Are you telling me? That Kurt Hummel, that idiot of a Co-Captain of the Cheerios actually had a brain in that pretty little head of his?". She said, sighing. Shaking her head, Rachel looks directly at Blaine "Bullshit" After she'd spoken, Blaine just looks...Really confused. Wow. Rachel didn't notice how... innocent Blaine's mind was until now. Then, it finally seems to hit Blaine what she had meant, as he was now blushing a hell of a lot, even his ears were turning pink. "Rachel!". Rachel just smirks a little wider, watching Blaine getting flustered. She didn't know what was more amusing: the fact that he had squealed, or that he was now tucking his knees into his chest. "That's.. that's.. v-vulgar.." Rachel rolls her eyes a little, when he whimpers, raising her eyebrows while setting her lips into a line. "We.. d-didn't.. have.. have.. ". Watching as Blaine frowns, Rachel just sighs. Face-palming for a few moments, Rachel brings her head up to look at Blaine. "What are you — like twelve? It's not vulgar, it's just natural. It happens to all teenagers — even you, Blainers.". Smirking a little, Rachel tilts her head to the side. "And it's okay — you can say it —promise I won't tell". Swinging her legs downwards, Rachel gets up so she's sitting on the couch properly. Quickly fixing her hair, Rachel leans forward, her lips brushing against Blaine's ear "Sex". Biting her lip a little, stifling a laugh, Rachel leans back, and raises her eyebrows at Blaine again. "So, did you and Hummel do it then? You can tell Rachel — she won't judge" WORDS: 516 MUSE: NONE TAGS: BLAINERS >;D NOTES: I just use lyrics as well xD Or quotes. I think this is the first time one of my characters has been mean to Blaine without being provoked in some way haha. xD Well...HG you could argue, but everyone is out of whack there[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Blaine was fully aware that what had happened with their parents had caused them to go seperate ways, him becoming shyer and more reserved, while Rachel growing bitchy and definitely outgoing. It was amazing, how something as simple as a parent fight could have that effect on them, but it did. It had, and now they were different teenagers all together. The person they were before was maybe hiding underneath, but for the most part, they'd changed for good. Or at least made it seem that way. Are you telling me? That Kurt Hummel, that idiot of a Co-Captain of the Cheerios actually had a brain in that pretty little head of his?
Blaine winced a little, not liking how Rachel was talking about Kurt, but completely agreeing on the pretty part. Because yes, Kurt treated him like absolute crap, but holy shit he was like a fallen angel and Blaine could stare at him for hours. But, then again, he couldn't. Because Kurt would definitely have something to say about it. Bullshit. Frowning as Rachel looked right at him, Blaine sighed, pushing his glasses back up the bridge of his nose. " You shouldn't say rude words like that, Rachel. " He mumbled matter-of-factly, trying to look interested in his book as he flicked over a page. Blaine hadn't always been so innocent. Once upon a time he was usually first to catch on to a suggestive comment, or something of the sort, but now? His innocence and naivety had grown back, and there was nothing he could do about it. He just wanted nothing to do with anything sexual at all. What are you — like twelve? It's not vulgar, it's just natural. It happens to all teenagers — even you, Blainers. Shivering at the thought, Blaine shook his head, trying to ignore her as best as he could, but it was hard when she smirked so widely. And it's okay — you can say it —promise I won't tell. Frowning, Blaine watched as she flipped herself up to sit properly on the couch, shying away as Rachel leant over to whisper in his ear. Sex. Shivering, Blaine shook his head again, trying so, so hard to ignore his sister, but ultimately failing. Why didn't he just go upstairs? Oh, that's right. Because she'd follow him. Or ask him if he was going to clean up the mess. Or something stupid like that. So, did you and Hummel do it then? You can tell Rachel — she won't judge. Sighing in exasperation, Blaine realized she just wasn't going to give up. Closing his book, he looked over at her, shaking his head. " N-no.. we didn't. He.. he hates me. " He told her, quietly, as always, gaze falling. " And.. a-and that kind of thing.. i-it's.. stupid.. " WORDS : Idk. TAG : Rachel. :) MUSE : None. NOTES : Hahah. Poor Blainers. xD Santana's just kind of a bitch to everyone, Kurt's all pissed in the HG, and Rachel here is just.. eh. Older sister. xD [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Rachel hated her parents a lot, for what they did to her and Blaine. They really didn't seem to care much for what they did with their fight. Rachel didn't care though. She was long finished with them, and she was going to get out of here as soon as she graduated, and wouldn't look back. Not ever. Seeing Blaine wincing, Rachel smirks before pouting, prodding Blaine's cheek. "Awwww, does ickle-Blainers have a problem with me talking about ickle-Kurtie in such a mean way?"
She contiunes to pout at Blaine before Blaine frowns, frowning back at him and waiting for what he was going to say. "You shouldn't say rude words like that, Rachel.". Rachel rolls her eyes at him "What, you mean 'bullshit'? I can say, and have said a lot worse than that Blainers. Are you sure you're not actually five years old?" Rachel didn't even know how it was possible for Blaine to become this naive. It was hilarious, yet annoying at the same time. "N-no.. we didn't. He.. he hates me." Rachel shakes her head, sighing "You really don't know the Cheerios. That's just a game they play. You know, play hard to get. Fabray's the same with me. In fact, the more they seem to hate you, the more they want to get into your pants." Her eyes then widen with excitement "Oh! Let me text Hummel! I'll find out for you! She makes grabbing gestures with her hands, moving a lot closer to Blaine in an attempt to get his phone from him. " And.. a-and that kind of thing.. i-it's.. stupid." Rachel rolls her eyes, nearly snapping now "It's not stupid it's natural. Sheesh, you really need to loosen up! And I'm not just talking about your personality. Which is why you should totally let me text Hummel to sort out that problem for you. And any another problems you might be having in the pants department." WORDS: 328 MUSE: NONE TAGS: BLAINERS >;D NOTES: Ah, older sisters. The bane of my existence xD[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]
