  At first, when word got out that she was a lesbian, Santana was positive that her life was over. Not actually, but socially. She didn't think people would ever want to speak to her again, apart from people in the New Directions. Really, if it wasn't for the Unicorn and his Hobbit, Santana wouldn't think they would want to speak to her either. But she was glad they were there. Gave her some short of assurance. Santana sure as hell wasn't going to say that to either one of them though. None of that mattered though. She'd finally found the courage to ask Brittany out on a date. A proper one at that. One where she wouldn't have to hide their hands under a napkin.
She was currently waiting outside of Breadstix, nerves filling her completely. Santana felt so close to spewing at one point, that she had to get one of the waitress to keep her table, just needing ot get some air. Taking a few deep breaths, Santana leans against the wall after she walks out. A few more minutes passed and she starts to pace around outside the shop, just waiting for Brittany to show up, occasionally looking down the street to see a familiar blonde face.

  Brittany wouldn't really say that she was a lesbian. She'd go more for the term bisexual. Not that certain friends, namely Kurt, would approve of that term. Though she was really in the mind to care at the moment. She was trying to get ready for the date she was about to go on. She was actually really excited about it. She was going on an offical date with Santana. The kind where they could probably hold hands and not have to hid them under a napkin. This was super exciting. Though she had been going crazy trying to make sure that she looked cute for Santana. This was a lot harder than she had originally planned when it came down to getting ready. When her dad dropped her off at Breadstixs, Britt kissed his cheek and hoped out of the SUV. She waved as he drove off. Then she moved towards Breadstixs. Though she was surprised to see Santana standing outside. She strolled over to the girl with a smile on her face. What are you doing waiting out here?

As far as Santana was concerned, Brittany wasn't a lesbian, but bisexual. Yeah, Porcelain might not approve of the term, but really. Brittany was. There were people, who were like Santana, and actually lesbians, or gay, but there were people out there who were just attracted to both genders. Maybe in time, Unicorn Boy would realize that. If it weren't for Britt though, Santana doubted she would even care as much. But she did. That was all that mattered.
After what seemed like an eternity, Brittany finally appeared. Santana beams up at her, instantly wrapping her arms around the girl, giving her a quick squeeze, when she got close enough. "What are you doing waiting out here?"
[/b][/i] "I was going to end up puking if I waited inside. I needed air". Santana was about to say that, but realized, no. That would just be stupid. Instead, she smiles up at Brittany "I wanted to see you arrive. It felt more...right. If that makes sense"[/b]

Brittany was sure this was a date. At least she though it was. She was never really one to know anything for certain. Epsecially when it came to Santana. This girl had a habit of changing her mind more than Britt thought a normal person did. That was why she had to double checking almost everything. She hated to seem dumb but she didn't want to have any confusion. She just wanted a nice date with Santana. That was all she was asking for. It wasn't too much. It was just enough. Though she liked the hug that Santana gave her. It felt right. I was going to end up puking if I waited inside. I needed air. She just wanted to spend time with Santana. Not like they normally did. Maybe she wanted the girl to be her girlfriend. I wanted to see you arrive. It felt more...right. If that makes sense. She smiled at the Latina. It makes sense.

This was going to be a date this time. Santana was going to promise this. There had been so many times Santana had changed her mind and acted as though they were just two best friends on a date rather than actual girlfriends. But enough was enough. She was in love with Brittany, and it was about time she actually made Lima knew this. And fuck them if they couldn't handle it. "It makes sense"
[/b][/i]. Santana smiles at Brittany. She then chuckles weakly, glancing at the floor. "I'm really nervous.."[/b] She says, running her hand through her hair nervously while trying not to mess it up too badly.
