Blaine was so unbelievably happy it was the summer holidays again. You know what that meant? No school, and he'd get to go back to their holiday house by the sea. Could anything be better? Just as said thoughts crossed his mind, his Mom passed him a Pop Tart to keep him going on the journey. Dear god. It was like fucking Christmas up in here. The car ride down always took longer than he liked, but he supposed he couldn't complain. Blaine liked to watch things out of the window as they went, playing various games with himself, because really, his parents weren't going to. His father always drove, and was too busy concentrating on the road to listen to him, and his mother got bad travel sickness. So, for the ride down, it was just him, the back seats, and whatever happened to pass his window. Blaine didn't mind. He was an only child, he was used to having a lack of company. He'd learnt how to keep himself occupied, and really, it was a good thing he did. His parents tended to get mad at him if he did something wrong.
As soon as they arrived, Blaine was out of the car like a bullet, jumping round and squeeing to himself, hopping round to the back and waiting impatiently, wanting to just bring his little suitcase into the house so he could go down to the beach and play like he usually did. If it wasn't for the fact his father made him carry his things in, he would've been gone already, but he'd been raised to have impeccable manners. At least, around his parents. With anyone else he tended to be on a sugar rush most of the time, inquisitive as a kitten and kind of in your face. He was loveable, though, which made it worthwhile. Blaine just wanted to be friends. As soon as the boot clicked open, he dove for his suitcase, dragging it out of the car and along the floor, running up to the house and pushing the door open, dashing upstairs and throwing his things onto the bed. He could sort things out later. At least, Blaine better. Or his Mommy would be upset with him, and she was scary when she was upset.
It wasn't long before Blaine was dashing down to the beach, eyes wide with excitement and curls bouncing slightly as he ran, a wide grin across his lips as soon as he hit the sand, hopping to take his shoes off, letting his toes sink into the grains beneath him. They'd be here for a whole month, and he couldn't wait. He'd come down to the beach every day, and he'd swim, and make sandcastles, and Maurice would, too! If he wasn't busy saving the planets up in the sky. Blaine knew that his friend had trouble finding the time to play with him, being a space cowboy and all, and he respected that. He just wanted to spend a little time having seaside fun with him this year. Rolling around in the sand for a little bit, shaking off the grains each time when he stood up, knowing he'd be in trouble if he came home with dirty clothes, Blaine decided to do a little bit of exploring. He wandered around aimlessly, pretending to fight off animals along the way, growling to himself for sound effects. Eventually he came across a cave, pulling him out of his imaginary world. It was big, with stones and rocks scattered everywhere to make a rather smooth floor, a flat surface, almost, aside from a few bumps. Blaine continued to look round in awe, noticing the waves lap up at the side not too far away, before his gaze fell on what appeared to be a boy in the middle of the cave. Except, the longer he looked, he realised it wasn't a boy, because.. well.. the boy had a tail. A fish's tail, like.. oh wow. He was a merman! Well. Merboy. Blaine hopped around a little excitedly - he'd never met one before. Dropping to his knees, he crawled towards him a little, stopping a metre or two away, seeing his tail was caught and tied up in a net. Well. He had to help. It was what Maurice would do. " Hi! "
[/color] He greeted cheerfully, ignoring all warnings his mother had ever told him about stranger danger. " Do you need help? I can get you out? Today had been going pretty well for Kurt recently. He'd been able to go further away than he was usually allowed to go from where he lived with his father. He didn't actually get any form of permission to go out further, but as his father had been a lot busier recently, he had more of a chance to be a lot riskier with how far out to go. It was like fucking Christmas up in here. Or whatever the merfolk equivalent of Christmas was. Though, he knew not to go out far too much further than he was allowed. He knew that some parts of the ocean where he shouldn't be going at all, having no idea what was even out there. So he avoided as best as he could. He wasn't supposed to be near the shore either, but Kurt had been there before with one of his friends. It wasn't that bad actually.
He never actually went on the shore before, it was really just the rocks or in one of the caves. Apparently, humans were dangerous. At least..that was what his daddy had always told them. But from the times he'd seen them on the beach, they didn't look all that dangerous to Kurt. He never went over to them before. There was usually too many and it made him a little nervous. He just wanted to talk to one that was around the same age as him, but he never saw any other boys or girls his age alone. If he did, and he was about to talk to them, an adult or two would usually follow. So that usually ruined his chances of talking to them.
Today, Kurt was spending the time he had on the surface while his father was away for the day sitting in a cave. He didn't usually go there, but it seemed to be more frequent lately. Kurt usually didn't do much while he was there apart from sitting on one of the rocks of the cave, just looking around everywhere in awe at the view. But right now? He wasn't doing that. Right now, he was struggling to get out of a net that usually wasn't there. He didn't even know how his tail managed to get stuck in there in the first place. It just sort of...happened. Maybe a human left it there. Where humans actually dangerous like his daddy was always telling him? Or had they just forgotten to take it with them when they came here. Maybe there was a human nearby that could help him..That would really be good for him right now. Kurt didn't want to be stuck here for too long and end up making his dad worry. He didn't like doing that, he always felt bad for doing it. "Hi!" While still trying to get out of the net, he hears something moving behind him. A little scared to what it was, Kurt looks behind him, to see what it was, his gaze falling on a boy around his age, a meter or so away. Kurt hadn't seen him around before...maybe he was from a different part of the ocean? Looking at him more closely, he notices that this boy didn't have a tail..He had legs. Oh, sweet jegus, he was a human. Even though he wasn't really scared of the human boy, he was a little nervous, this being the first time he's ever met one. "Do you need help? I can get you out?"
[/b][/i]. Kurt's about to say that he doesn't need help and that he can get out himself, when realizing that he's been struggling to get out for a while now, and he wasn't even sure if he was helping his situation any. It couldn't hurt to get help. So, looking up at him again, Kurt nods once slowly, biting his lip a little. WORDS:[/B] 652 MUSE: [/B] Does my mum's snores from the other room count? No? Blaine could honestly say he was very rarely as excited as this. This boy was part fish! That was like.. a really big deal. He'd never seen one before, not at all. Of course, Blaine had read about them, but they'd always been mermaids. He'd never heard of any mermen or merboys, but wow, was he glad they existed. He could see that the boy in front of him was struggling with the net, having it wrapped around his tail. Golly, his tail. Blaine thought it was absolutely beautiful. It was mainly silver, he supposed, with streaks of blue and violet and indigo and all these other pretty colours. The way the light was shining on it made his scales shimmer, too, and Blaine couldn't help but stare a little. It was like all he wanted to do was reach out and touch it, feel how smooth it was, but he knew that if he did that, he'd probably scare the boy even more, and he didn't want to do that at all. Letting his gaze trail upwards, he saw that the boy had nothing on his torso - he was completely bare. Blaine was a little amazed at how pale his skin was, like he was a shape poured out of milk, or something like that. His hands? Well, they wouldn't be so special, had Blaine failed to realize that there was webbing between his fingers. His hair was like.. like nothing Blaine had ever seen before. Styled so perfectly on top of his head, a warm, autumn chestnut in colour, his fingertips itching to reach out and stroke that, too. Blaine was just jittery now, with all the things he wanted to run his fingers over, biting his lip and sitting on his hands to stop him from doing anything he'd regret. Then the boy looked over at him, and wow, he had the prettiest eyes Blaine had ever seen. They were a striking electric blue, seemingly shining with a hint of nervousness, but Blaine chose to ignore this. He just wanted to be friends.
Blaine waited, patiently for once, for an answer from the merboy, really wanting to help him, but not wanting to hurt him. Eventually, when the boy looked up at him again, nodding and biting his bottom lip a little, Blaine grinned from ear to ear, nodding enthusiastically and shuffling closer to his fragile body. " Great! See, Maurice told me all about saving people, so, you know, I can do this. "
[/color] He gave a little determined nod, before furrowing his brow in concentration, trying to figure out how to save the merboy from the net. He seemed to be tangled up in it pretty bad, but maybe if he just tugged in a few random spots, it would loosen and fall free? Worth a shot. Raising his tiny fist, Blaine grabbed a handful of the net, giving a tug and watching with proud eyes as it fell from the merboy's tail into a loose heap. " There you go! Is your tail okay? I can kiss it better? "[/color] Blaine didn't know how merfolk made their wounds better, but whenever he hurt himself, his mommy always kissed it, and it stopped hurting as much afterwards. Smiling brightly, he flopped onto his stomach, propping his chin up and kicking his legs innocently, holding the merboy's gaze. " So what's your name? I'm Blaine. "[/color] WORDS :[/color] Idk. Kurt wasn't quite sure how to feel at the moment. He was incredibly intrigued by this human, wanting to move closer to him and try and find out more about him, but at the same time, he felt nervous about being around him, mainly because of what his father had told him about humans, and he just wanted to go back into the water, and deal with the net later. Either way, he was just rooted to the spot, and was staring at him. God...he was probably creeping the human boy out right now, if he wasn't already by being something he's more than likely seen before, from staring like an idiot at him. But he couldn't look away, it was his first time seeing a human this close after all. The first thing that he notices, apart from the lack of a tail, that his hands weren't webbed, like his own. He cranes his neck slightly, trying to get a better look of his legs to see them better, to know what legs were actually like. They were pretty similar to his legs....they even had some form of..leg hands at the bottom of them. They weren't webbed either....Kurt really had to wonder how they managed to swim then.
He watches the human boy, slightly confused when he grins widely, and enthusiastically nodded, before watching him shuffle closer. "Great! See, Maurice told me all about saving people, so, you know, I can do this."
[/i][/b]. Kurt furrows his brow in slight confusion. "Maurice?"[/b]. He looks at him still, tilting his head as he speaks. What was a Maurice anyway...Was it like a Daddy? It just confused him. Seeing the human boy giving a determined nod, he resists a chuckle before looking down at his tail, deciding to actually help with tugging at the neck, not wanting to be completely useless at getting himself out of this. After his tail comes loose, he looks over at the human, smiling at him gratefully, and looks down at his tail again. Quickly flicking it, he frowns slightly, feeling it sting slightly. "There you go! Is your tail okay? I can kiss it better?". Hearing him speaking, Kurt blushes slightly, looking down "D-does it even help..?"[/b] Kurt watches as the human boy flops onto his stomach, propping his chin up, while kicking his legs, he can't help but smile a little, before turning to look at him better "So what's your name? I'm Blaine."[/b][/i]. Kurt opens his mouth, about to answer him before stopping. He wasn't really sure if Blaine would be able to pronounce his name properly.. Though some of his friends his just call him "Kurt". He opens his mouth again, actually speaking this time "Just call me Kurt"[/b] He says, smiling softly. Blaine sat, in silent awe, as Kurt just watched him. Well, more like stared. He didn't really care. This was a merboy, something he'd never seen before, a potential new friend. God, Blaine loved making friends. He supposed it would be a little difficult, with the fact he couldn't swim underwater that well, or breathe under the water, actually. And his father didn't like him being around other boys alone, or being their friends. Blaine didn't really know why that was. They weren't going to hurt him, were they? No. Of course, Blaine didn't know if merfolk hurt humans, but the boy in front of him seemed harmless enough, and he was very pretty. Blaine was extremely curious about him, just wanting to talk, learn everything he could about merfolk and this boy before he was expected home for dinner. He had a few hours or so, and for Blaine, that was usually enough. He was extremely sociable and talkative, and reckoned that if anything, the merboy would have to tell him to shut up.
Blaine looked down at the merboy, watching the confusion spread across his features, his brow furrowing. If it wasn't for his tail, he actually wouldn't know the difference whether he was human or not. Maurice?
[/b][/color] The boy's voice was beautiful, like a bell, so high and melodic. Blaine smiled down at him, before his eyes widened, catching the sight of elongated canines in his mouth. Oh wow. " Woooow, you have sharp teeth! You won't bite me, will you? I won't hurt you.. I'm very nice. "[/color] He nodded a little, before sitting back slightly, hazel eyes shining. " Maurice is my best friend. He's a space cowboy, so I don't get to spend much time with him. But he taught me how to save people and how to find shelter and all this other cool survival stuff. "[/color] Blaine grinned enthusiastically as he spoke, gesturing with his hands as he did so, animating his sentences. Watching as the boy smiled gratfeully towards him, he beamed back, his gaze falling to his tail as he flicked it. D-does it even help..?[/color] The merboy blushed a little, causing Blaine to smile brighter, nodding and hopping round slightly. " Of course it does! Here, look. "[/color] Without hesitation, he knelt down, pressing a kiss to Kurt's tail, grining up at him when he pulled away again. " See? It feels nice, doesn't it? My mommy always kisses me better. Well.. when she's not busy.. "[/color] Blaine looked a little sullen for a few moments, before looking up again, shrugging it off and smiling brightly. He looks up at Kurt, waiting patiently for him to tell him his name, casually kicking his legs in the air. Just call me Kurt.[/color] Blaine looked up at Kurt with shining eyes, a smile tugging the corners of his lips, as he put his hands down on the rocks below him, pushing his body upwards to meet his gaze, almost nose to nose. " Hi, Kurt! You're really pretty! "[/color] WORDS :[/color] Idk. ^^ TAG :[/color] Kurt. :D MUSE :[/color] HURTS LIKE HEAVENNOTES :[/color] Heeere. Despite being told to avoid humans if he ever met one, Kurt wasn't really wanting to go. At least not yet. The boy did seem nice enough, and hopefully wouldn't hurt him, at least, not intentionally. But if things did get dangerous, Kurt made a note to jump straight back into the water. Though, hopefully this wouldn't happen. Kurt didn't really have that much friends, and the thought of making a friend, one that was actually human too...It was too exciting to let the opportunity pass by. He just hoped he wouldn't spend too much time on the surface that would start making his father worry.
Seeing the human boy smiling down at him, he raises an eyebrow slightly, smiling softly at him. "Woooow, you have sharp teeth! You won't bite me, will you? I won't hurt you.. I'm very nice"
[/b][/i]. Kurt quickly runs his tongue over his teeth when Blaine comments on how sharp they were... He never really thought they were that sharp before. Maybe that was the case for humans..? Focusing more on Blaine's teeth as he begins to speak, that did seem to be the case. His teeth didn't really look that sharp at all. Kurt then looks up at Blaine, shaking his head. "N-no...I don't bite. Promise."[/b] He briefly looks down as he speaks. Hearing Blaine mention that he was nice, Kurt tilts his head a little. "R-really...?"[/b]. Kurt really hoped so. He didn't want his first experience with a human to be a mean one. "Maurice is my best friend. He's a space cowboy, so I don't get to spend much time with him. But he taught me how to save people and how to find shelter and all this other cool survival stuff"[/b][/i] Kurt watches as he talks, making gestures with his hands, completely interested in what he was saying, hoping to find out more about humans here. Kurt didn't know what a cowboy was....He'd heard of cows, but he wasn't sure what they were. Was a cowboy a boy that looked like a cow, or was it just a boy cow? He didn't know, but he did know about space. It was like the surface, but only for humans. At least, from what the other merfolk, the ones that had actually met a few humans, had been saying "Really?! How did he get there or did he always live in space? Then how did he get to the surface then..?"[/b]. Kurt did try to hide just how excited he was, not succeeding all that well. Seeing Blaine beaming back at him, Kurt continues to smile at him, though more softly this time. He glances to the side slightly as he flicks his tail, seeing that the human's gaze had fallen down to it. Biting his lip slowly, he quickly flicks his tail again before looking at him again. Kurt's slightly confused again as he sees Blaine smiling brighter, wondering what had caused him to do that. "Of course it does! Here, look."[/b]. Then, before Kurt could say or do anything to protest, Blaine kneels down, kissing his tail before he looks up at him, grinning. "See? It feels nice, doesn't it? My mommy always kisses me better. Well.. when she's not busy.."[/b] After Blaine pulls away, Kurt looks down at his tail. After Blaine had kissed it, his tail did feel warmer, especially on the spot where he'd kissed it. Even though Kurt didn't expect it to work, his tail didn't hurt any more, and actually feel better. Letting out a slight gasp of shock, he looks over at Blaine, smiling brightly. "That actually does feel better!"[/b] Noticing the sullen look on Blaine's face, Kurt frowns a little, tilting his head. For some reason, Kurt had wanted to say that he could maybe try kissing him better, though he had felt like that would maybe just scare Blaine off. Though, Blaine seemed to have shrugged it off before he got the chance to say anything. Kurt watches as a smile forms on Blaine's lips as the other boy pushes himself up, and he's slightly shocked as their noses are almost touching. Blinking a few times, Kurt lets his eyes focus again, before meeting Blaine's gaze "Hi, Kurt! You're really pretty!"[/b][/i]. Hearing Blaine speak, a blush forms on Kurt's cheeks again, his teeth grazing over his lips slightly. "R-really..? I'm ..pretty?"[/b] WORDS:[/b] 734 MUSE:[/b] WHEREVER YOU WILL GO[/b][/font][/size][/URL] TAGS:[/b] BLAINE <3 NOTES:[/b] The adorable killed me. As did the emotional music. Blaine watched as Kurt ran his tongue over his teeth, his eyes wide in both caution and curiosity. This was just him as usual. Inquisitive about practically everything, and really, not caring at all if it made someone else uncomfortable or awkward. Of course, he never set out to do that on purpose. It just.. happened. Probably just Blaine's exuberance and naive optimism. N-no...I don't bite. Promise.
[/b][/color] Blaine let out an obviously dramatic sigh of relief, grinning brightly towards Kurt and shuffling a little closer, figuring it was probably safe, since he wouldn't be made this boy's breakfast anymore. " Oh good! I wasn't sure. Because I don't bite, either. I mean.. not mer.. people.. I eat fish. But they're tasty, so I guess it's okay. "[/color] Blaine nodded a little, glancing out to the sea, before back to Kurt. " I don't think you'd taste very nice. "[/color] Watching as Kurt tilted his head, Blaine mirrored his actions in question, still smiling. R-really...?[/b][/color] Grinning, he nodded enthusiastically, frowning a little as his hair fell down a little, quickly pushing his curls off his forehead. " Really! I helped you, didn't I? "[/color] He stated, not being know-it-all, just simply telling him the truth. If Blaine had been mean, he wouldn't have bothered to help Kurt out, right? Right. That's what he thought, anyway. Maurice had taught him all he knew about being kind and helpful, so he supposed he had to thank him for that. But he wasn't giving his friend all the credit. Really?! How did he get there or did he always live in space? Then how did he get to the surface then..?[/b][/color] Blaine grinned with shining eyes at how into the conversation Kurt seemed to be, how excited he was. Gosh, this was amazing. He was actually talking to a merboy, one who might possibly become his friend. Blaine would love that. " He's magic, you see. When he's needed up in space, he gets a message on his special watch, and then he uses his powers to transport up to the solar system. That's all the planets, in case you didn't know. Mostly he stops the naughty aliens misbehaving on Mars. "[/color] It really did fascinate him, how Kurt had a tail, and how he could flick it and move it and swim with it and everything. Blaine wished he had a tail. He could swim, sure, and he was good at it, but he wasn't as pretty as Kurt was. He pouted a little to himself at this thought, but shrugged it off, continuing to grin brightly at what he was pretty sure was his new found friend, fully intending to kiss his tail better no matter what he said. Giggling a little at Kurt's gasp of shock, he nodded. That actually does feel better![/b][/color] " Of course it does! Feels nice and warm, huh? "[/color] Pausing for a few moments to think, Blaine scuttled a little closer, gently reaching out to touch the spot he'd kissed, stroking over it with his fingertips softly. " This helps, too. I think. It does with me, anyway. I don't know if it's different for your tail. "[/color] Blaine didn't really know much about his parents, only that they tended to not have enough time for him, and his daddy really didn't like him spending time with other boys. Oh.. wait.. Kurt was a boy. Well.. he wasn't Kurt's friend yet, was he? That was okay, he supposed. R-really..? I'm ..pretty?[/b][/color] Nodding and grinning, he closed the distance, pressing his nose against Kurt's for a few moments before pulling back, crossing his legs and looking at Kurt's tail briefly, before holding his gaze again. " Well.. the prettiest boy I've ever seen. But I don't know if you are a boy. I mean, you are a boy, but you're a merboy, so.. is that different? But.. you're very pretty. Seeing Blaine biting his lip, Kurt began panicking internally, worried that he'd done something wrong, and tried to think of ways that he could possibly fix it, but ultimately failing. Though, when Blaine had smiled, Kurt feels a lot more relieved. Well, he didn't upset him. At least not too much. Kurt really wouldn't like it if he'd managed to upset Blaine. Because so far? He really liked him. "Yeah. I mean.. not all the time.. that wouldn't be very nice. But we have it as a treat if I'm a good boy."
[/b][/i]. Kurt nods slowly. He could understand that. He had been told not too get too much treats from a young age. "Yeah, I understand that. My mommy never gave me treats a lot. She said that it's better to have them every now and then because they'd be more special."[/b]. He gives a quick nod as he finished speaking. She did give him a lot of things when she was still alive, but anything that was really special or that he really wanted, he only got it on special occasions, or if he hadn't strayed far from home and too near the surface. His father was more likely to give him things, but Kurt never got the same freedom when it came to going out while his mother was still alive. Which was why he waited until his father was going to be away for a while before deciding to go near the surface at all. "We don't. At least.. I don't think we do.. I mean.. my mommy bit me the other day for being bad.. if she thought I tasted nice, she would've eaten me, right?"[/b][/i]. Seeing the bite marks on Blaine's arm, Kurt's eyes widen a little and his face fell into a frown. Kurt had been bitten before, by another merboy before. He didn't know why he got bitten, but it really hurt. Human teeth weren't as sharp as merfolk teeth, but looking at Blaine's it did seem like it would hurt either way. "That wasn't nice....Did it hurt..?"[/b]. He couldn't imagine someone biting Blaine, let alone his mommy. To him, weren't mommy's supposed to stop you from being bitten? Blaine was too nice for someone to hurt him like that. Kurt then thinks for a few moments, before shaking his head. "She probably would have...so humans mustn't taste nice then"[/b] Kurt bites his lip a little when seeing Blaine pout, hoping that he wasn't too upset with whatever he was pouting about. "That's not very nice.. for someone to do that to you. I don't know why they would. You're very nice."[/b][/i] Kurt smiles brightly "Thank you! You're really nice as well."[/b]. Then, Kurt frowns a little "I don't know why someone did do that...It kind of just happened. I mean..I see these nets a few times to get fish. It might have been something like that..?"[/b]. Kurt tilts his head a little, just trying to think of why he did get caught in that net. Seeing Blaine nodding, Kurt just continues to smile. It was just...amazing what Blaine had told him. He'd never imagined things to be like that up above. After today, it would just really suck if he didn't ever see Blaine again. It seemed a bit silly to make friends and only meet them once, and he and Blaine were getting on really well, so they were well on their way to becoming friends. Maybe even time, they'd be like... best friends. Kurt really hoped that would happen. He'd never had one before, and it would be awesome to actually get one. Sure, there were the other merboys, or mergirls, but Blaine was different. Completely different. Kurt continues to watch Blaine's hand as it strokes over his tail, smiling softly to himself. When Blaine had retracted his hand, Kurt watches leave his tail, before lifting his gaze to look back up at Blaine properly. "Maybe.. I've never tried it before. I mean.. people always do it to me when I'm hurt, but I've never done it to someone else until now."[/b][/i] Kurt slowly nods when Blaine speaks, resting his hands on his tail. "I've not really tried it either..I might have to, though"[/b]. Then, remembering that Blaine had said his arm had been bitten, Kurt shuffles along so that he was closer to Blaine. Leaning down a little, Kurt presses his lips against where he'd been bitten before pulling back, smiling softly up at him. Seeing Blaine smiling at him cheerfully, Kurt returns the smile, continuing to watch him. "You're welcome!"[/b][/i] Not saying anything, Kurt's smile brightens before noticing Blaine frowning, and his eyes widened in panic. Frowning a little himself, Kurt raises an eyebrow slightly, about to ask what was wrong before Blaine had spoken again. "But we have to keep it a secret, okay..? What I said.. and that we're friends."[/b][/i]. Biting his lip a little, Kurt slowly nods. "Okay...But why do we need to keep it a secret..?"[/b] He asks, slightly tilting his head. Blaine watched as Kurt's eyes widened, immediately panicking that he'd done something wrong, biting his bottom lip as he waited for Kurt to speak. He hoped he hadn't upset Kurt. He liked Kurt. He didn't want to make Kurt unhappy. Y-you eat fish..? I didn't think that...people could eat fish.
[/b][/color] Oh, that wasn't too bad. Managing a small smile, Blaine nodded. " Yeah. I mean.. not all the time.. that wouldn't be very nice. But we have it as a treat if I'm a good boy. "[/color] He smiled brightly at the thought of fish and chips on a Friday if he'd been good for the week, though, his parents' standard of good was more like fucking impeccable. Blaine tried really hard, he really did, but it wasn't exactly easy, and he had trouble sticking to the rules sometimes. He didn't like upsetting his mommy at all. Mommy got angry when she was upset, and if he'd been really bad, then she punished him. Blaine didn't like punishment, not one bit. N-no. I don't think I would...Humans probably wouldn't taste nice either.[/b][/color] Blaine shook his head fiercely. " We don't. At least.. I don't think we do.. I mean.. my mommy bit me the other day for being bad.. if she thought I tasted nice, she would've eaten me, right? "[/color] Blaine asked, innocently, waving his arm about as he did so, showing Kurt the bite marks on his upper arm. He'd spilt ink all over his mother's paperwork by accident, and well.. sorry wasn't good enough. Yeah, you're right. I'd probably still be stuck in that net otherwise.[/b][/color] Blaine frowned, pouting a little. " That's not very nice.. for someone to do that to you. I don't know why they would. You're very nice. "[/color] Blaine nodded, failing to understand why anyone would want to trap someone as beautiful and kind as Kurt in a net. Why anyone would want to hurt him. Wooow..[/b][/color] Blaine nodded slowly, eyes wide and expression serious as if to confirm what Kurt had heard was true. Blaine really hoped he'd be able to see Kurt again after today. It would be silly to make a friend and then never speak to them again, surely? Yes, he'd come down here and talk to Kurt again, he was sure of it. Blaine wanted to. He was really starting to feel like he could make an excellent friend out of Kurt, a best one at that, and Blaine didn't want to say goodbye to him, really. He'd never met anyone like Kurt before, and he was super curious, as always. Yeah, it does! It's... amazing.[/b][/color] Blaine nodded with a grin as he watched Kurt, knowing it was exactly that. Amazing. There really was nothing like it, the feeling of someone's lips against his skin, kissing whatever injury he had better. It just seemed to work miracles. Which Blaine was a firm believer in. Yeah, it helps. Maybe it's like that for everyone..?[/b][/color] Blaine nodded, smiling back up at him softly, gently stroking over his tail a little more before retreating his hand, sitting back down on the rocks. " Maybe.. I've never tried it before. I mean.. people always do it to me when I'm hurt, but I've never done it to someone else until now. "[/color] As Blaine leaned forward, he looked right into Kurt's eyes, smiling brightly and just taking them in. They were as gorgeous as his tail, and wow, Blaine could just look into them forever and ever. They were blue.. no, green.. no, grey..? Blaine didn't know. They seemed to be a mixture of all three, and wow, they were just so pretty. He practically had to tear himself away to sit down. I'm not sure if it is different... But the only difference is that I have a tail and you have legs, right..?[/b][/color] Blaine nodded. That made sense. He couldn't really see any other obvious differences between them, aside from, like Kurt said, the fact he had a tail and Blaine had legs. T-thank you.[/b][/color] Blaine smiled cheerfully, jiggling round a little. " You're welcome! "[/color] He purred, before his face fell, and his eyes widened in alarm. " But we have to keep it a secret, okay..? What I said.. and that we're friends. "[/color] WORDS :[/color] Idk. ^^ TAG :[/color] Kurt. :D MUSE :[/color] NOTHING.
Blaine watched as Kurt nodded, a soft smile across his lips. That meant that he understood, and it was always so much easier when people understood what he meant. Which, unfortunately, because he was Blaine, tended not to happen too often. But that made Kurt special. Because he understood. Blaine liked that idea - that Kurt was special. Kurt was very, very special. Yeah, I understand that. My mommy never gave me treats a lot. She said that it's better to have them every now and then because they'd be more special.
[/b][/color] His smile widening a little, Blaine nodded enthusiastically, his eyes shining with excitement that someone finally got what he was trying to say. Blaine wasn't the best when it came to explaining things, tending to just come out with lots and lots and lots of words, never really getting to the point and often wandering into some other topic. " Yes, that's right! It's more special! But it's really hard.. to behave, I mean. I have to be really, really, really good to get a treat. "[/color] Blaine pouted a little after he spoke, frowning to himself. It wasn't his fault that he tended to be a little accident prone, was it? Or that he got a little exuberant? Or that his snuggle attacks weren't exactly comforting, like he thought they were? Blaine always went into things with the best intentions, but usually that tended to end up making a mess of things, one way or another. He didn't even know how. After flinging his arm about and showing off what he pretended were his battle wounds when playing a game, though in reality his mother's bite marks, Blaine watched in confusion as Kurt's eyes widened before a frown settled across his features. Had he made Kurt mad somehow? That wasn't nice....Did it hurt..?[/b][/color] Nodding slowly, Blaine let his arm fall back down to his side. " Yeah.. a little.. big boys don't really feel pain, so.. you know. "[/color] He sniffled a little, trying to sound as tough as he could, though ultimately failing. She probably would have...so humans mustn't taste nice then.[/color] Nodding a little at Kurt's realisation, a small, soft smile appeared on Blaine's lips. " Right. So.. no chance of you eating me? "[/color] He asked, his voice obviously hopeful as he smiled over at Kurt, his hazel eyes bright as ever. Thank you! You're really nice as well.[/b][/color] His smile growing, so that he was beaming from ear to ear, Blaine shuffled inevitably closer to Kurt, promptly deciding it was safe to advance. And Blaine liked being close to people. It made him feel safe, made him feel wanted. I don't know why someone did do that...It kind of just happened. I mean..I see these nets a few times to get fish. It might have been something like that..?[/b][/color] Listening to Kurt intently, he nodded a little afterwards, keeping his gaze locked with the other boy's. " Yeah.. I'm sure it was a mistake. No-one would do that on purpose, it's mean. "[/color] Blaine was going to make sure he saw Kurt again. He didn't want to play alone for a whole month this holiday, even though it was what he usually did. In all honesty, he did get bored when that happened towards the end, but if he had someone like Kurt to play with? Things wouldn't be so bad. They'd stay fun, actually. Blaine liked the sound of fun. Didn't all children? Granted, Blaine had friends back home, and when other people came to visit the beach, he tended to talk to the other children then, but none of them were Kurt, or were even remotely like Kurt. Because none of them were merboys. Blaine was pretty - no, extremely - excited about the fact he could have a merboy for a best friend. It was something he never ever thought would happen, as he'd didn't think he'd ever be so lucky as to meet someone of Kurt's kind. But he had, and he was going to take advantage of that, and spend as much time with Kurt as he could. Provided Kurt wanted to, of course. I've not really tried it either..I might have to, though.[/b][/color] Opening his mouth, about to reply, Blaine stopped when he saw Kurt shuffling closer. Making no attempt to move, he just watched with curious eyes as the other boy leant forwards, a light blush crossing his cheeks as he felt Kurt's lips against his skin. Gaze still locked on the merboy, he watched as Kurt lifted his head, managing to return the soft smile as he rubbed at his neck a little. " Thank you.. "[/color] He whispered, softly, a shy smile suddenly forming instead of the excitable one beforehand. Blaine was then, however, filled with the panic of what might happen if he was ever found to be friends with Kurt. Watching as Kurt's expression changed, he kept his own eyes wide in fear. Okay...But why do we need to keep it a secret..?[/b][/color] Glancing over his shoulders, just to check no-one was there, Blaine leant in just a little so Kurt could hear him better. " My daddy says I'm not allowed to be friends with other boys.. if he finds out he'll be really mad. It was so much easier to get your point across if the other person understood what you were talking about. There was a lot less explaining to do, and really, it just made everything so much easier. Kurt smiles continuing to watch Blaine with a wide smile, just blinking slowly. ]"Yes, that's right! It's more special! But it's really hard.. to behave, I mean. I have to be really, really, really good to get a treat."
[/b][/i] Kurt frowns a little, tilting his head as he looks at Blaine. "Really...? I don't really have much problem getting treats.."[/b] He frowns a little in confusion. With his parents, or, father, he only had trouble when he was having a particularly bad day. It wasn't super easy for him to get treats but it wasn't a really hard challenge for him. Was Blaine not a good boy...? But that didn't make sense. Blaine seemed really nice, and as far as Kurt saw it it shouldn't have been that hard. Maybe his parents were just... super strict or something..? It wouldn't make much sense otherwise. " Yeah.. a little.. big boys don't really feel pain, so.. you know."[/b][/i] Hearing Blaine sniffing, Kurt's eyes widen in concern. He slowly, and carefully brings his hand up, running it over Blaine's arm as he looks at him. "Are you okay...?"[/b] He asks, frowning. "Right. So.. no chance of you eating me?"[/b][/i]. Kurt nods, holding Blaine's gaze. "I promise I won't."[/b] Kurt watches as Blaine moves closer to him, smiling softly, before deciding to move closer himself, hoping that it would be okay with Blaine. "Yeah.. I'm sure it was a mistake. No-one would do that on purpose, it's mean"[/b][/i] Kurt nods, continuing to hold Blaine's gaze. "Yeah, I really hope so.."[/b] Kurt really hoped that after today, he'd see Blaine again. His meeting with Blaine today was to amazing not to ever happen again. So, even though they were restricted with where they both lived, Kurt would try and meet up with Blaine again. Despite that he really wasn't supposed to go anywhere near the surface for any reason. HE looks up at Blaine after kissing his skin, smiling softly at Blaine's blush. "Thank you."[/b][/i] Kurt nods, sitting up at him. "You're welcome.."[/b] He says softly. Seeing Blaine looking over his shoulder, Kurt does the same, before he looks back at Blaine leaning in as Blaine does, listening to him intently. " My daddy says I'm not allowed to be friends with other boys.. if he finds out he'll be really mad"[/b][/i] Kurt bites his lip when Blaine speaks, nodding slowly, flicking his tail as he thinks for a few moments "I see... Well, I'm not supposed to talk to humans...So it's definitely going to have to be a secret."[/b] He says, nodding.
