Blaine was still unbelievably uneasy about telling his parents that he was dating, in love with, and having sex with Kurt Hummel. It was like inviting himself into the lion's den voluntarily, and he just knew it wasn't going to end well. When did anything with his parents actually go right? The truth was, nothing ever did. Whatever he did, in the eyes of his parents, it was a mistake, and his sexuality? That was no different. In fact, it was just a million times worse. His father was so homophobic, Blaine didn't even know if it was possible, and this? It was just going to earn him pain, he knew it. Once he'd told them, there was going to be an awkward silence. He could just picture it in his head. And after that? All hell would break loose, and Blaine was going to protect Kurt like nothing before. Because to him? Kurt's safety was the main priority here.
However, when Kurt first suggested telling his parents, Blaine knew deep down that he was right. They'd had their first time, and really, they were at a serious point in their relationship. As far as Blaine knew, neither of them planned on breaking up with the other - he sure as hell didn't - and they loved each other so much. If they were going to end up together, Blaine had to tell his parents that he had a boyfriend. Which, was why, they both sat in Blaine's car in his driveway, silence like a fog clinging to the air around them. Blaine was just preparing himself, trying to forget the worst possibilities, which were probably going to happen. As for Kurt? Blaine just hoped he wasn't putting Kurt off by sitting here so silently. He didn't want to worry his boyfriend at all, but really.. what he was positive was about to go down? It wasn't going to be pretty. Blaine didn't know if Kurt understood just how awful his father was, but whatever the situation, he wasn't going to let any harm come to his beautiful boyfriend. Taking a deep breath, Blaine looked over at Kurt with pain across his features, worry deep in his hazel eyes. " Kurt.. I really don't know about this.. "

Nerves were just currently filling Kurt completely, his stomach cramping like hell on the way to Blaine's house. He hadn't actually met Blaine parents before, but he knew what they were like when it came to homosexuality. It was just...awful really. But despite that, Kurt knew that it was best to tell Blaine's parents. They were at a really serious point in their relationship at the moment, and it wasn't like they were going to break up any time soon. There was really only one thing that would cause Kurt to even do that, but what that was, it was something that Blaine wouldn't do, and Kurt certainly wouldn't do it to Blaine either. The thought of it was just so... ridiculous. The silence when they were sitting in Blaine's car in the driveway was awkward, nerves getting worse, though, it really wasn't changing his mind. Kurt was really just trying to think of something to break the silence. Hearing Blaine taking a deep breath, Kurt looks over at him, frowning slightly when seeing the pained look across Blaine's face, and the worry in his eyes. "Kurt.. I really don't know about this.."
Smiling weakly, Kurt reaches over and holds onto Blaine's hand, giving it a quick, reassuring squeeze. "I know it's a little...unnerving, but..we'll be there for each other, right?" WORDS: 224 MUSE: NONE TAGS: BLAINE <3 NOTES: I'll make it pretty later ^^ And sorry, it's kind of shit. The only reason Blaine could think of for a possible break up between them was the unspeakable. He didn't even know how someone could do that to another person, especially someone so close to them, someone they'd confided in. Blaine was never ever going to do something so horrible to Kurt, never. He'd never forgive himself if he did, and the guilt would end up eating him from the inside, he knew it. No. He wasn't going to be a total jerk and completely crush the single most important person to him's feelings. Blaine hated doing that to anyone, but to the boy he loved? It would be pure torture, and the only reason he could ever think he'd be stupid enough to actually do that, would be if he got incredibly drunk, and Kurt wasn't around to keep an eye on him. He didn't do these things on purpose - Blaine just became a lot friendlier when he was drunk. It was no secret, really. Though the worry was still blatantly there, Blaine managed a soft smile as Kurt reached over, gently squeezing his hand back. I know it's a little...unnerving, but..we'll be there for each other, right?
Blaine nodded slowly, taking a deep breath. " Right.. " Glancing out of the window, at his house, Blaine frowned a little. He knew exactly where they'd be at this time. The front room, taking their usual break from their daily routines to discuss business, accompanied by some finger sandwiches and fancy drinks of some kind. Blaine was usually allowed nowhere near the front room at this hour, but today? He'd go in there. Turning back to Kurt, he laughed weakly. " I'm scared to get out of the car.. " WORDS : Idk. TAG : Kurt. ♥ MUSE : TEENAGE DREAMNOTES : It's okay on both fronts. (: My posts might suck today. It was pretty pointless to think about one of them cheating on the other at all, because it was just...beyond ridiculous. Kurt would probably end up dying if it happened to him. Emotionally, not literally, but it would feel like he did literally die. It would feel like that if he'd lost Blaine in anyway, really. It was just a horrible thought, and Kurt knew that it was best just to remove it from his mind completely. "Right.."
. Kurt looks at Blaine's house, taking a deep, rather shaky sigh. He was...incredibly nervous about meeting Blaine's parents. He would be anyway, had they'd been more accepting of homosexuality at all. Like, panicking if they thought he was good enough for Blaine. But he knew that he'd never be accepted in their eyes from what he'd heard of them. But still..There was just something inside of him that told him that he had to meet them. "I'm scared to get out of the car.. ". He smiles up at Blaine, squeezing his hand again. "Remember..courage.". Slowly, Kurt opens the door, and makes his way over to Blaine's side. As he opens Blaine's door, Kurt extends his hand out to him, quickly glancing at his house, before looking back at Blaine. Blaine knew that Kurt was probably just as nervous as he was, maybe even more so. He was the one they didn't know, after all. Blaine's boyfriend. The one Blaine had chosen to spend the rest of his life with, the one he loved, and sure, that wouldn't be so bad, but oh, yeah, Kurt was a boy. In his parent's eyes, that was just.. awful. Unspeakable. Blaine didn't know what was going to happen once they got inside, but whatever it was, he was pretty certain it wasn't going to be good in the slightest. Remember..courage.
Blaine gave a soft, weak laugh, shaking his head and looking down at his lap as Kurt climbed out of the car, waiting for him to reappear again. He looked up slightly as Kurt opened his door, gently taking his hand and sliding out of his seat. He locked the car behind him, taking a breath before heading towards his house. Blaine kept a tight hold of Kurt's hand, almost afraid to let go. He didn't know what was going to happen, but whatever it was, they'd get through together. Slowly opening his front door, Blaine peered inside cautiously, biting his bottom lip. It didn't take a genius to figure out Blaine's parents weren't nice to him. Hell, he was cautious in his own house, that was suspicious enough. Closing the door behind them, he gently tugged on Kurt's hand, heading to the far side of the entrance hall. " They should just be in here.. " He whispered softly to Kurt, over his shoulder. WORDS : Idk. TAG : Kurt. ♥ MUSE : Coldplaaay. Sure...Kurt was really nervous about this. Hell, there were times when his stomach felt so unsettled that he felt as tough he was going to throw up on the car journey there. But Blaine knew what his parents were like..How they would react to him. It was hard to determine who was feeling more uneasy about this, but Kurt knew that it was probably on the same level as each other, and if one was more nervous than the other, it wouldn't be by much. Hearing Blaine giving a weak laugh, Kurt smiles softly, hoping that at least some of the tension had been relieved. Walking towards the house, Kurt notices Blaine's tight grip on his hand. He didn't really react though apart from looking down at their hands. Kurt wasn't going to let go of his hand at all. It gave him some form of reassurance. It was going to be messy when they went inside, but there were going to be there for each other. As Blaine opens the door, it becomes even more apparent just how bad things were with Blaine and his parents. The fact that he was cautious to go into his own house? You'd probably have to be blind not to see that. He complies as Blaine pulls him towards the far side of the entrance hall. "They should just be in here.."
Biting his lip a little, Kurt nods slowly. "R-right..". If he was going to be honest? Kurt was feeling even more nervous than ever now that he was in Blaine's house. Kurt had been here before, quite a few times, really. But he'd not been in the house whenever his parents were there. Kurt had been in the house at the same time as Jason, but Kurt didn't run into him. They'd sneaked out of the house before that had happened. But here he was.... About to walk into the living room where Blaine's parents were, minutes away from things just flying up in the air. Taking a deep breath, Kurt holds onto Blaine's hand a little tighter, breathing slowly in hope of trying to calm himself down. Blaine couldn't go into the room straight away, he was way too nervous. He needed a few moments. Granted, he'd had more than a few moments to think about it and calm himself down in the car, but now he was here, his stomach was twisting all over the place, and he didn't like it at all. Swallowing back, Blaine bit his bottom lip, keeping a very tight grip on Kurt's hand. No matter what happened, he wasn't letting go of his boyfriend. It provided him with comfort, reassurance, and he knew he could look after Kurt better this way. That, and they were together, connected. They'd get through this, and when it was over, hopefully, everything would be fine. But Blaine had an awful feeling that telling them was going to do more harm than good. R-right..
Looking over at Kurt, hearing just how nervous he was, by the shakiness in his voice, Blaine managed a soft smile. He gave his boyfriend's hand a gentle squeeze, trying to reassure him without saying anything, whilst feeling absolutely sick himself. He honestly felt like he was about to throw up any moment, but he had to battle through it. He had to tell his parents he was with Kurt, that he had a boyfriend, someone he loved. Kurt was, most definitely, the person Blaine wanted to spend the rest of his life with, and his parents needed to know this, whether they liked it or not. Taking a few moments, Blaine let out a shaky, gentle breath, before making a weak fist with his hand, quietly knocking on the door in front of him. Come in. The answer was short, barked, a command. Blaine's father. With a slightly shaking hand, Blaine reached for the handle, slowly pushing it open and peering inside. His mother was there, on the couch, some fancy glass with an equally fancy drink in her hand, not seeming to have noticed him yet. Or at least choosing not to, looking in the other direction. Blaine made sure to keep Kurt behind him for now, so his parents couldn't see. His father was over on the other side of the room, next to the grand piano, arms crossed behind his back as he looked out of the window, neither of them acknowledging their son. Biting his bottom lip, Blaine glanced over his shoulder, giving a gentle tug and carefully leading Kurt into the room beside him, shutting the door quietly, keeping their fingers laced tightly as he opened his mouth to speak. " Mother, Fa- " Blaine! Your hair is a disgrace, young man. Why are all those unruly curls not gelled back? What do we tell you? What do we tell you every single day? His mother cut him off, scowling over at him as she traced the rim of her glass with her fingertip, choosing to, or either genuinely, not noticing Kurt yet. I don't know where those curls came from. Not my side, that's for certain. You know we do not wish to see any untamed hair. Blaine bit his lip, nodding slowly and instinctively running a hand over the top of his hair, feeling for the loose curls, cursing internally for missing a few strands, today of all days. " Sorry. " He apologized, quietly, his father finally deciding to look at his son, who as far as he was concerned, was a disgrace himself, not just his hair. Sorry's not always good enough, boy. You learn from your mistakes and you correct them, and you do not even dare to make the same ones again, do you hear me? Blaine nodded quickly, swallowing as he held his father's gaze, wanting to tear away from the intensity, but not being able to. That's when his father broke it, his eyes falling on the boy, Kurt, next to him. Who the hell is this, Blaine? Another member of the rainbow club? WORDS : Idk. TAG : Kurt. ♥ MUSE : CORALINE SOUNDTRACK NOTES : It'll be like.. courage.. courage, Kurt.. Kurt, courage.. have courage.. courage.. COURAGE. xD Now courage looks all weird. Kurt was actually glad that Blaine hadn't went into the room straight away. He needed the time to relax himself, and prepare from the madness that was bound to occur once they stepped into the room. It must be even worse from Blaine's side -- he knew just how bad his parents could be. Kurt smiles back at Blaine, feeling more at ease once Blaine squeezes hand, but still feeling incredibly nervous. As Blaine knocks on the door, Kurt takes a quick intake of breath, his chest feeling a lot tighter. "Come in."
. The answer, coming from Blaine's father, was barked out, and basically, a command, causing Kurt to wince internally. It just made him feel all the more nervous. Biting down firmly on his lip, Kurt looks up at Blaine, complying as Blaine tugs his hand, following him into the room, keeping his grip on Blaine's hand tight. "Mother, Fa-" Blaine didn't even have the chance to finish what he was saying before his mother had cut him off "Blaine! Your hair is a disgrace, young man. Why are all those unruly curls not gelled back? What do we tell you? What do we tell you every single day?". Kurt notices her scowl, and looks down at the ground, trying hard not to make any eye contact with her. The woman didn't seem to notice him yet, or maybe she was choosing not to? Kurt didn't know but he was glad in a way that he didn't have to communicate with her. Though, if it meant that Blaine was just going to be shouted at, Kurt wished that she would hurry up and acknowledge that he was even there. "I don't know where those curls came from. Not my side, that's for certain. You know we do not wish to see any untamed hair.". Kurt looks up at Blaine, still biting on his lip, his brow furrowing slightly. Blaine's hair wasn't even that...ungelled. There were only a few curls at the most that weren't tamed. "Sorry." Kurt hated seeing Blaine like this...It was more than awful, and Kurt really wished that he wasn't going to see him like this again. He hated it. "Sorry's not always good enough, boy. You learn from your mistakes and you correct them, and you do not even dare to make the same ones again, do you hear me?" Even though the look Blaine's father wasn't directed at him, it still made Kurt wince just from the sheer intensity of it. Kurt immediately felt so damn awful from the times he'd pretty much talked Blaine into ungelling his hair. He didn't even imagine that this would be the reaction he would get because of it, and if Kurt knew that Blaine's parents were this bad in regards to his curls? Kurt wouldn't have pushed so much for Blaine's hair to be curly. Then, Blaine's father turned his gaze away from Blaine, and it was now on him, causing Kurt to grip even tighter onto Blaine's hand. "Who the hell is this, Blaine? Another member of the rainbow club?" Kurt swallowed back, unable to tear his gaze away from Blaine's father, but finding it almost impossible. Kurt tried to reply, but it was like his mouth had just been glued shut. After a few moments, Kurt manages to open his mouth, stammering as he speaks "K-Kurt....Kurt H-Hummel..." WORDS: 566 MUSE: NONE TAGS: BLAINE <3 NOTES: Haha xD It doesn't sound/look like a word anymore.
