[OPEN] No Good Deed

Things hadn't exactly been going great for Kurt, apart from the times he was spending with Blaine. If it was even possible, Azimo and his usual group of jocks had been a lot more harsh towards the Glee kids, and by the sounds of things, they seemed to have forced Karofsky into starting again, though he wasn't as involved as before. It still wasn't good though. Already this week, Kurt had been slushied about four times. He was lucky enough that he always brought extra clothes with him in case anything happened to the clothes he was wearing. Kurt really didn't want to spend the rest of the day in stained, slightly damp, and cold clothes. Then there was Finn...Kurt didn't even know what the hell was going on with his brother, and why he had such a problem with him spending so much time with Blaine, but it was really making him mad.

After receiving another slushie facial, and getting his clothes changed in the bathrooms, Kurt headed straight to the auditorium. He usually headed there whenever he needed to calm down, usually singing to get things off his mind, but recently, he hadn't had the time to so everything was just constantly building up inside of him, threatening to explode at any moment. Kurt stood on the stage, a slight frown on his face, wondering what he could sing. Eventually, one came into his mind, and though it wasn't exactly how he was feeling, Kurt was sure that he would probably feel better after singing it.

After finishing the song, Kurt dropped down onto his knees, feeling slightly out of breath. 'I probably over-done it again..didn't I?'. He muttered chuckling slightly. Brushing himself down, Kurt stood up and walked over by the piano, when he noticed that someone else was there 'So...how long have you been there then?' Kurt asked, glancing over his shoulder.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

It had been a rather pleasant day for the most part. Aside from apparently hearing that poor Kurt had been slushied. She had run into Finn a few minutes ago and had a quick chat. Then slipped him a bag of Doritos and run off before Rachel saw them. Cherry-Berry didn't like her very much. She figured it was because the girl thought she was a spy for Carmel and Vocal Adrenaline. Though that had to be it. There was no way that anyone would know that she was starting to crush on Finnie-Bear. She had just figured it out this morning when they were both at their lockers and exchanging the morning pleasantry. She had grabbed his locker door to peak around and slip him the morning bag of Doritos. At the exact same moment, his hand had landed on top of hers as he was going to set his locker. She had managed to keep the blush off of her face. There was no way she would have been able to hide it as she wore her hair pulled back today.

At the current moment, she was headed towards the auditorium. Lyric was hoping that maybe if she did some singing then maybe she could figure about this crush she had. There was no point to it as Finn was perfectly happy with Rachel or at least it would seem to be that way. Though she honestly had no way of know. Though she figured it was best to get over this crush. Finn was a senior and the quarterback of the football team. She was a sophomore and the school circus freak. It didn't matter that he was in glee. He still had the football cool factor. It made life a little better. She wanted to join glee so badly but Rachel made it almost impossible to be able to walk into that choir room. Any time around that girl and she might do something that would make Finn hate her.

When she entered the auditorium, there was someone singing. She didn't recognize the face but she had a feeling that she might know them. They had an amazing voice. She would love to do a duet with him. She also wanted to do one with Blaine if he would allow it.

I probably over-done it again..didn't I? Lyric noticed that he seemed to be talking to himself. That meant that he hadn't noticed her yet yet. This was followed by him dusting himself off and moving towards the piano. By the time he noticed her, she was standing a few feet from the piano. So...how long have you been there then? She gave a smirk and then tucked a blond lock behind her ear. Long enough.

The jocks wasted no time harping on about how they "slushied that Hummel kid again". It was really unbelievable how much pride they took into embarrassing someone. Kurt was long used to it, so he wasn't upset by it anymore, but it didn't stop him from wanting to snap at them, or feel totally embarrassed. The reactions from the students seemed to vary between laughing at him, or voiceless sympathy. There wasn't really much in between.

[/i] Kurt looked up at her and chuckled. He had seen this girl a few times before, though he never had much of an opinion on her to make so far. As far as he knew, they barely said "hi" to each other, and that was it. He didn't see why people seemed to be unwelcoming to her. She seemed nice enough. 'So..that means you saw all of that then, huh?' Kurt said, chuckling weakly 'I'm...actually a lot better than that. I just sang that on a whim there.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Lyric was hoping that maybe one day, she could put the jocks in there place. They seemed to think that it was okay to slushie the poor kids on the glee club. Though she so wanted to be the one to put them in their place. Okay, well all but the glee club football player. There was Finn, Puck, some Asian kid, and surprisingly the one in the wheel chair. They would be safe from her wrath but mostly because they had taken their fair share of slushies from what she had heard. There would be revenge for the glee club even if Rachel Berry had made her not want to join the club.

So..that means you saw all of that then, huh? Lyric smiled at him. Earlier this more, Lyric had been wearing her hair braided back. Though at around lunch time, she had pulled it down and thrown a hat on as it went better with her outfit. So, even if Kurt had seen her talking to Finn this morning, he wouldn't relieve that this was her. Not that she knew it was Kurt. Yes, I did. She almost giggled at his weak chuckle.

There was silence for a moment. I'm...actually a lot better than that. I just sang that on a whim there. She raised an eyebrow at him. Oh really? Well, based on that performance if you aren't already in glee club you totally should be. She wished she could join the club but that fact that she might hurt Rachel was too strong right now.

Kurt did have to wonder, out of all the groups at the school, why the jocks had to give the Glee kids the most hell, when all they did was sing and dance. What exactly was even wrong with that? It didn't make much sense to Kurt, but then again, when did anything half of the jocks do make sense?

He wasn't sure if this was the girl that Finn was talking to, but if things weren't so, well...awkward between the two, then maybe Kurt would've cared enough to actually pay attention to who he was even talking to. At the current moment, Kurt didn't really care much about anything that Finn was doing, just as long as he wasn't involved, or at the very least, too involved.


She raised an eyebrow, causing Kurt to look briefly confused, wondering why she had done that 'Oh really? '

[/i] He nodded 'Yeah, really' HE said. 'Well, based on that performance if you aren't already in glee club you totally should be.'[/i] Kurt sighed, and sat at the chair of the piano 'I am i the Glee club, and I really love it, but at times, I really don't think that they actually even need me. Yeah, really. Lyric gave a chuckle. You seem fun. We should be friends. She didn't know what had made her say that but she had said it for some reason. Then again she was never sure why she said half of the stuff that she. Though after what she had realized this morning, she was glad she had started rambling in front of Finn yet. That might not end well. Then again she might ramble on and confuse her crush. Oh the horror of it all. This problem would have to be dealt. Though she would worry about that later.

I am in the Glee club, and I really love it, but at times, I really don't think that they actually even need me. Most of the time, I'm just sitting there, singing back up for Rachel and Finn, or I sing on or two lines when those two take the lead solos as always. She was listening to this. Apparently all the people in glee club think that Rachel hogs all the solos. Yeah, I couple of people I know were saying that Cherry-Berry tends to hog the solos. I know that Kurtiekins and Blainie-Boo have been wanting to do solos. Finnie-Bear is really the only one with anything positive to say about her. I guess that you could say that I don't really feel like I'm even a part of the club at times. She sighed. I was going to join glee club but I'm not too sure anymore.

For now, Kurt was going to play along, but he couldn't resist smirking a little as he did.
